The whitening function is not as good as Colgate

Not bad value for the buck. It doesn’t last to long so 3 tubes are needed. I have noticed my old teeth are at least a shade lighter. Unfortunately even with good dental care at my age the yellowing called denta is showing through. This is strong enough and gentle to use daily. It works better then many toothpastes out there. Give it a try.

At 3 oz. it is legal for carry on luggage and so it has become my toothpaste of choice for trips. It is larger than most travel toothpaste tubes so it does not run out on extended trips. Same Crest quality that I am used to.

I decided to try this toothpaste since it was on a good sale here and I was running out of my go to whitening toothpaste (Colgate Optic White 15X Whiter Teeth with 5% Hydrogen Peroxide).For the price I paid I think it's a decent whitening toothpaste but if I had paid regular price I'd be a little upset.One of the things I dislike about this toothpaste is that it doesn't leave my mouth feeling all that fresh. The second thing I dislike is that this toothpaste has a HORRIBLE aftertaste. Also, I'm not so sure this is making my teeth whiter even though my teeth aren't getting darker either.But the biggest difference between this toothpaste and Colgate Optic White 15X is that with Optic White I can see my teeth are getting whiter the more I use it and it leaves my mouth feeling minty fresh for a long time after brushing. And with the Colgate 5% Hydrogen Peroxide I only need to use a small pea size dot and it foams up so well that I look like Cujo. HaHa

I'm SUPER picky w dental hygiene products. For years, I've already been using mild-to-moderate whitening toothpastes in combo w my Sonicare, so was not expecting this to whiten any more above what I already have achieved... and it has not. I just-so happened to try it at a friend's place with a regular toothbrush... and the clean feeling was SOOO amazing I went on a hunt for it evvvverywhere! I would easily have paid 3-5x the price I got it for here, but to my dismay was unable to find it after about 12+ visits to various CVS, Walgreens, Targets. Then I realized I could probably find it on Amazon, and BOOM.. finally struck gold! Got two 3-packs just to be sure I never run out of this again!! Or, at least enough to last me until Crest's next great formulation!! Teeth haven't felt THIS clean (at home, barring post-dental cleanings) nor lasted this long since the ORIGINAL REMBRANDT toothpaste which was owned by Den-Mat (then later turned to absolute garbage after Oral-B bought it and completely changed the formula... sad day!).
