a deeper look from his side his mind and soul
Absolutely a good read. Hearing from his mind was somehow deeper and more beautiful. I loved seeing more from him and his side of their beautiful chaotic love

Tandem Read with A Touch of Darkness
I tandem read A Touch of Darkness with A Game of Fate, and I think that’s the only way to read this series! I found AGOF to be more exciting and enjoyable. You also see a different side to Hades. Persephone painted him in a bad light and had I not tandem read, I would have probably hated his character. This was at the same time as A Touch of Darkness, so some parts of overlap. Really the only thing that’s the same is the dialogue. Clearly, you know how the interaction will go, but it’s different reading in Hades’s POV.This story felt like it had a lot more plot and we got to see more of the Greek mythology which was something I liked. There’s more going on in the story than Persephone tells in her POV because she doesn’t know this other stuff is happening. The experience of both these books together is the reason I’ll finish the series. Yo I can’t read the books from Hades’s POV without Persephone’s because you’ll miss things, but I did find this more interesting. I cannot stress enough to do yourself a favor and tandem read!🌶️Spice wise: the beginning was steamy at times but the spice picked up a lot in the middle to end. If I didn’t tandem read and have the plot from a Game of Fate with A Touch of Darkness, I would have said there was too much spice with not enough plot. However, if you tandem read, the story is strong enough. Although it was every chapter from 18 on which seemed like a little excessive in my opinion. The spicy chapters were 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, and 27.

His and Her perspectives... Such a great idea for a series
I love the idea of telling basically the same story about from two different perspectives while also giving each character their own stories in the meantime. I enjoyed the first book so much, as I did with this one, but as much as I love spice, I feel like hearing Hades consistently thinking about sex was too constant for my liking. Yes, I think that’s how all men think, a sexual thought every 90 seconds, but I would’ve liked it much better if it wasn’t as prominent (even if that isn’t realistic hahaha). But that’s merely personal opinion and despite that, this book was incredible. I’d recommend this clever series to anyone looking for a new series to read. I am beyond excited to continue reading these books.

Brings more depth to the story
Okay I wish I would've read this simultaneously, but I know for the rest of the books! The first book had very little storyline and this book is just as steamy but actually has more depth outside of their sex life. I will definitely be finishing the series, but definitely reading the next POVs simultaneously.

I would’ve liked it better if I’d read it at the same time that a touch of darkness
It just felt a bit slow since it was the same story but it was still good. Liked knowing the other side of the story

A good book
Was this amazing piece of literary fiction? No. Was it fun and entertaining? Yeah I believe so.I love Hades and I think he’s a fun character trying to figure out love. I’m interested to see how he continues to grow because at this point? He’s a stereotypical man. Grow a little God!!I really enjoy Persephone as a FMC. She obviously has a lot of growing to do and a lot of work needs to be done for her to accept herself and I’m reason hoping and praying she gets there. I’m hoping SSC does it justice because I feel like it could easily fall flat but god I just want her to embrace herself and her Divinity!!Hermes is always a vibe and Hecate is such a know-it-all but I love her. Will definitely read the next one!

Wow, wow, wow!
Who knew I would be addicted to a series this fast? It’s been a long time since I read through a book in one sitting. This is told from Hades point of view and the world building in it is fantastic. It not only gives depth to Hades and Persephone’s story, but fleshes out their world to a better degree. Intrigue, mystery, and danger abounds around every corner. Something that was absent from Persephone’s recounting. Since she had no contact with her Divinity, let alone with the other Gods, she couldn’t have known the hazards lurking beneath the surface of this world. But Hades does and he isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty.I’m loving every moment of reading this too. I can’t wait to find out what will happen next. What will come of Theseus’s unclaimed favor? And how will the Triad impact Hades’ newfound love for Persephone? And most importantly, will Persephone gain control of her power in time to overcome this newest threat?

Holy Smokes!
Hades POV has absolutely blown my mind! He would watch the world burn for her! I loved the depth of this book because it’s shows his true character and how he is torn between the past and his true self with Persephone and his potential. Another fantastic book in this series.

Darker and Sexier
I really loved A Touch of Darkness and I wondered how different the story would be from Hades' POV. Turns out, the answer is, A LOT! And all in a good way! I absolutely LOVED this book. It is bolder, darker, sexier and taps into the lore and mythology way more. The gods play pivotal roles and each one has a distinct personality. I couldn't get enough!Seeing the darkness in Hades, his skewed moral compass and the secrets he has and continues to keep from Persephone make him a far more layered character. He isn't just a sex, brooding god, but a man with complex and uncertain emotions who will do anything for his lady. I loved his interactions with Hecate and Hermes, who have officially become my favourite side characters. There were new scenes added to familiar ones, which amplified the steam ten fold. The plot has so much going on, so many unique threads that change how scenes in ATOD unfolded. I thought it was cleverly done and it was a joy to read. The banter and chemistry between the two leads was fantastic and they are becoming one of my favourite bookish couples. There were also side plots and threads left open for future books, and I can't wait to see how they tie together.A Game of Fate is perfect for anyone who loves new, urban takes on mythology and legends, super steamy fated romance, and morally grey heroes who keep their secrets close to their hearts. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Good but old
3.5 ⭐️I don’t really know what to think of this book. I loved a touch of darkness and I love the fact that this is Hades POV. But the events were the exact same and sometimes that kind of bored me. There was an additional plot line which was meeting other gods and seeing how Hades handled things which I really enjoyed reading about. But other than that the scenes with Persephone were the same which could sometimes be a bit boring. If you haven’t read a touch of darkness you’ll probably like this way more because everything will be new! However I still enjoyed reading it and can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!

“What is evil to one is fight for freedom to another”
