Great upgrade to aquarium cleaning
I found this tool to be very good and a great upgrade to aquarium tank cleaning.Enough power to clean the gravel and it also makes water changing very easy from the way I've done it until now. Easy to clean to debris without changing the water. It leaves the clean water in the tank.Instructions: I found the pictures easy to understand and the tool fit together very easy.I totally recommend this product.

Needs to be a lil shorter for longer tanks. Filters need re-thinking
If you have gravel, your tank has to be over a foot tall or the tube can't fill with water and flow. The filters at the end immediately work, but the compartment is too small and the fine sediment, algae or fish poop, snail eggs, etc. All that gets clogged up in the lil filter and you go through about 1 filter pad per 10 gallons. This is absolutely useless to an 80 gallon tank and above. The design is "chefs kiss" in my opinion but needs the kinks worked out. But for 80g and under this Is perfect

it works
When I first got it I was having a lot of trouble getting it to work, but once I was able to, man it did the damn thing. A little annoying with getting it to work, but I'm happy overall. Super easy to clean my tank and refill.

Are you kidding me?
This product has got to be the winner of the “Most Stupidly Designed Thing of the Year” award First, what they call a User Manual was clearly written by a non-English speaker with poor translation skills. Be prepared for come interesting things in it. You get told to not use the item above 45 C or below 0 C. Hum…. How many of you keep fish at the freezing point of water. Then again, the same could be said about being warned to not use above 113 F (who keeps fish at that temperature?).Moving on, the unit comes with enough in the way of extension wiring and tubing that you can almost use it from a separate room. Not a very smart product design. Oh, and you get a curious black foam filter that appears to only serve the purpose of making you scratch your head in confusion. The package list includes 2 wire clamps that those of us in the real world would actually call twisty ties — not clamps. But that wasn’t enough for the low IQ designers of this nightmare. Also included is a “Lengthening sand washing Head.” The name alone shows that the author of the manual doesn’t have a firm grasp on how to use capitalization. Then again, that part serves no purpose because it doesn’t actually fit anything. There is another useless part, “Filter.” It is supposed to be attached to a fitting at the top of the assembly, right below the handle. If your goal is to make a mess, this part is for you. If installed, then, once you turn the pump on, water will start spraying out of the base of the “Filter”, making quite a mess. The filter is so small that it will plug up in minutes, making it rather useless. The manual states that these filters can be rinsed and reused - which is simply not true. Never shown in the manual is that you should actually attach the plastic hosing (oddly called “Water Pipe”) to that fitting on the handle. Now, when activated, water will flow up the pumping unit and out the tubing into a bucket that you had better have in place. Just be warned that the flow rate is so high that it will fill a 3 gallon bucket in about 90 seconds. Another warning. Turning off the pump does NOT stop the flow of water as the tubing will continue to act as a syphon. Be sure to lift the pump end out immediately after turning it off.Totally missing from the User Manual is information on basic maintenance. So, for your reading pleasure, here is what you need to know. There is a screw on ring at the base of the pump unit. Once removed, you can then remove the fitting at the base. This will expose the impeller, for removal and cleaning.I’m left to wonder if this was designed by a six year old with a wicked sense of humor or by a totally incompetent engineer. Hum….

Tank Cleaner
This machine hose if good for filtering out tank water. However, is not that great for regular tank cleaning. This hose does not filter out the extra things like fish poop. The suction is so good that it will vacuum up the rocks of the foam filter is not in place. All in all, it does the job to suction out water, but actually cleaning out the extra particles/items/poop in the water, it does not do that job.

Just Right
I use this to vacuum the gravel in my 45 gallon tank. It has just the right amount of suction, it’s easy to assemble and use. I would recommend this for mid size fresh water tropical fish tanks

Worth the money
This thing is worth the money. way better than i imagined. One thing to be wary of. If the small filter gets too much slim, the pressure willcause the handle to fly off and you now have a fish tank fountain. I think as soon as i get the tank back to a easy maintenance level i willnot have to change the filter every 5min.Also, the filters can easily be washed out under the sink to be used again and again again. This is worth the $$$
