Percy Nobleman's Moustache Wax

This was the first moustache wax I tried, at the start I thought it was great but over the year-ish I was using it on a daily basis I gradually came to dislike it.It is not a firm hold and does not last too long so i'd be having to frequently reapply it. Melts very quickly and has a bit of a greasy texture to it which builds up if you're constantly reapplying it throughout the day.Plenty of embarrassing episodes when I've been socialising, glimpsed my reflection and seen how terrible my moustache is looking because the wax has melted and hasn't held the shape I wanted.Perhaps for a full moustache that requires a more gentle shaping this product would be more appropriate but avoid if you have a curly one that you want to get an exact shape from, a much stiffer wax is better suited.

I have a thick curly beard which is hard to tame. I bought this after the positive reviews and thought I would give it a go.Firstly, while it looked good and was presented well, I did not enjoy the smell of it. It has just a sort of old musky smell of nothing specific and reminded me of old books. Secondly, it doesn't hold my moustache in shape at all. It didn't have much hold and with my thick curly hair it definitely wasn't able to cope. It also cant be used as a beard oil/wax as its not really suitable for that either.In the end I returned it and was given a refund. I now use pure organic argan oil on its own as a beard oil together with another brand moustache wax (dandy candy) which seems to have a nicer smell and hold.

I thought my moustache gave me a macho but debonair persona, and then I bought this tin of wax. I have spent 2 hours trying to get the top off but alas to no avail. I'm feeling rather weak and unworthy of having a moustache now.

Excellent product, don't know how I've managed so long without it! Have used different products including wax and clay before but they have always left my moustache feeling heavy with wax/clay clumps clearly visible.This product feels so light and has a very natural look to it, I only apply two layers on a day to day basis for work (working for the emergency services where I am in a proactive role , not office based!) and never have any issues with my it. In fact I will often go home and find my moustache still in place.I find I get the best results by taking the lid of the wax and using a hairdryer for approx 10 seconds on the top layer of the wax, applying the wax (still rubbing it between my fingers before applying) then either using the cold setting on the hairdryer or using a fan which will then help set it in place.I can not recommend this product enough.Percy are a top company as well, sending emails from time to time with hints and tips on how to get the best out of your beard or moustache.

Fancy name and premium prices for a poor product.I understand that there is not much decent competition, but sticking to classics as Reuzel and Prorasso cannot go wrong.
