1 Pound of Crystallized Ginger Baker's Cut 3-6mm

I make scones and gingerbread with real ginger somewhat often. It's better and more flavourful than ginger powder (even fresh), and it really lends something to the recipes. Chopping my OWN crystallised ginger, though, is a heck of a chore. And very often, baker's cut chops are either too big or insanely expensive. These are a good, small, easy to measure out cut, and do not cost an arm and a leg. Very pleased, and will absolutely buy these again.

I purchased these perfect little ginger flakes for my hot tea but they are exceptional in baked goods as well. They taste amazing and so flakey and fresh. They look pretty in a cute glass server.

This is great, small dice crystallized ginger. We use it in baking Biscotti and the small dice is a perfect size.

I bought four types of candied ginger because I love the stuff and wanted to compare them. I had bought a large bag of the stuff (not this product) from another source last year and it was so woody that it lasted far longer than I wanted it to 😳THIS product is not woody. Flavor is mild, not spicy... You might like more flavor but with these little pieces don’t know if you could really get that bite.It’s a great size for baking or sweetening yogurt, ice cream, cereal...The pieces are smaller than I expected, and there is too much loose sugar in it. Otherwise handy and mildly tasty.

If you check, the price per pound for this crystalized ginger, in "3mm" pieces: ie perfect for baking, costs less than other versions, despite the rather steep shipping cost. The shipping is worth it, as the item arrived at our doorstep 2 days after ordering, in excellent condition, sent USPS first class.If you order more than one pound, the price of shipping drops, so plan ahead, and happy baking!I recommend using this seller.

I love ginger and this crystallized ginger is a great product. You can add it to anything. It tastes great and keeps well. I used it mostly for baking, but you can add it to ice cream or whatever you want.

Have been much too busy with the hurricane to use, but it arrived very securely packaged in a box. The ginger is contained in a great heavy plastic bag.
