Big Red Football Stat Book

Easy to use and understand. Helps with v entering stats into hudl

The few reviews this item had were all good, but there were no pictures or description of the stat sheets. I have made my own, but thought I would try this one. It's more for a play by play or color announcer than for a statistician. I gave my to the pbp guy an will use my own sheets.

This is by far the best stat book that I have found out there. It's good for someone taking stats for the team or for other reasons (I'm a sports reporter and this is by far the best and simplest way to do it). It's detailed and lays everything out perfectly for even someone just beginning to keep stats. I've used the Big Red Stat Book the past three football seasons.

I have been using the Big Red football stat book for several years now. It is well laid out and easy to use.

I'm a sports writer and have used a Big Red score book for the last five years each football season while covering local high schools. The layout is simple and easy to grasp, and the example scoresheet in the front gives good suggestions. It also has an area to record each scoring play, which comes in handy as a quick reference area for a reporter.While some schools around have stat programs and provide stats, and while some football scorekeeping apps I've tried are nice, nothing beats this scorebook and a pencil on Friday nights for keeping stats accurately and efficiently.

There simply aren't a lot of football stats books out there. Other than laptop software, there's this and Glover. Glover has a good product, but it assumes that you have a five-man stats crew (and easels to work off of). If you need basic stats for the newspaper or lower-level football, however, this is the best choice.
