This is an awesome lock. It's small
This is an awesome lock. It's small, it's locks stuff, it's really great. I advise buying one. This lock is used on my outside gate so it's always getting snow and rain. I have had NO PROBLEMS with this thing, unlike the other brand I had on it.

OK locks. Components are hard to turn if there is *any* pull on the lock, so it takes some serious wiggling to open it sometimes.

Unreliable, second to fail in less than 3 months
The lock looks quality on the outside As this is the second one I have had fail in less than 3 months the internal quality my be rubbish. This time I broke my garage door handle trying to remove the lock and also the padlock is out of the return window. So now I have to replace the garage door handle and buy a new lock. Not happy, does not quite say it. I will never buy another squire lock. I have left many reviews on Amazon and all have been 4-5 star, this is my first ever 1 star rating and that it only gets one because you can't pick zero rating which is what I rate this product as. Caveat Emptor

Would not recommend.
Used these for the first time recently. The lock shaft diameter is too large to fit standard luggage cases and we had to improvise. More importantly, we set all 3 locks with the same code, tested them and all worked. Travelled to the hotel and 2 of the set of 3 locks failed as the code didnt work and had to be cut at the hotel.Would not recommend.

Had two for years, finally replaced them with same model lock, as it was so good
Bought as exact replacements for two others that lasted use a few yeasr but finally got worn down and bashed around a bit. Was delighted to find the same model was still around.

Very good padlocks from well known company
Excellent padlocks. Well made and simple to set your own code number. Would buy again and recommend to those looking to purchase similar locks.

2 out of the 3 no longer work after 2 weeks of use
Im now on the second lot of these as the first lot were faulty.Second lot are still the same. Set them at the chosen code and go back and unable to unlock them. The number chosen seems to slip a digit after every use. We’ve had squires locks for years and never had this problem.
