Shackle Cover Held By Only 1 Rivet
I use this product for it’s intended purpose. I like that it has a five digit combination as opposed to four. I dislike that you need an extra tool to change the combination and I especially dislike the poor quality way in which the shackle cover is barely held on by a tiny rivet.

I have gone though 3 of these locks
I like how strudy they were, but I did not like how vulunerable they are, somehow they are not tamper resistent. I guess there a way around any lock.

Maybe tough inside but very flimsy outside shell
Within maybe five minutes of opening the package and opening the padlock a few times, the outer plastic shell simply came loose as two parts. Hard to tell if it was simply glued but now it doesn’t clip closed, so the padlock is useless. Flimsy outer shell totally rubbishes an otherwise sturdy padlock inner, a real shame and poor quality overall.Annoying as I needed urgently, now I need to source another padlock.

Good for 2 months - falls apart with use up to twice per day
We used this item, the first one I ordered in 2021 became seized with outdoor use - we bought a replacement and the button to unlock the padlock has decided to detach itself and now needs to be held in place during locking & unlocking to prevent the button for pinging off.

Very easy to operate
I got this to replace a janky Master brand combination lock that was really poor. This Squire one was a bit more expensive but it is so much more reliable and well engineered from an operation point of view that it's certainly worthwhilte. The dials are easier to rotate, the critical alignment is very obvious to anyone using it (the Master one was oddly offset), the weatherproofing actually makes it more pleasant to handle too as it doesn't have that 'sting' that bare metal has on frosty mornings. Easy to read, easy to set, easy to operate and feels well built. A big improvement.

Solid lock
Writing this review after 2 months of daily outdoor use. The lock itself is solid and the size is perfect for my needs, but I also enjoy being able to get into the thing I have locked. The combination settings have sub-positions (instead of 1, 2, 3 it feels like 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2 etc), which means that you have to very accurately put the combination in, which is usually fine as the rollers are chunky enough to operate sanely and the numbers are nicely visible. However, I'm wondering whether the extra positions weaken the system over time, as it seems to be getting harder for the lock to "accept" the numbers I've put in. Perhaps its just me, but its causing me to lose confidence in the otherwise decent lock.

Waste of my money.
I brought this lock. My old one is great but the new one is really temperamental. I set the code closed the lock only to realise that the code won’t work. I resent the lock back and Amazon kindly sent me a replacement. THE SAME thing happened AGAIN. This time not being so patient I took a sledge hammer to the lock smashing it to bits out of frustration. I am now left to pay for a overly sensitive lock where you can’t set the code.Don’t waste your money.
