Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Water Drop Cream, 160 g

I originally bought this product as I had heard it has a similar effect as the Tatcha Water Cream. I've used Elizavecca hair products before and swear by them so when I saw this was on sale, I snatched it up. Its been about ~2 weeks of usage for me, so here's my review: My Skin: I have oily/sensitive skin and use Adapalene (a retinoid used for acne) almost daily. Adapalene is strong and does interact with many face products. I can use this during the day, well before my Adapalene application at night. If you are using a retinoid, do not use this in the hours following your application as I have gotten burn-like irritation (but I get that with most products after the Adapalene). This product has also never flared up my acne! Product Description: This is a non-greasy moisturizer that melts into water the moment it touches skin. A little goes a LONG way. Since hyaluronic acid helps trap moisture, I use this post cleanse and tone to trap water in my skin, and if needed Ill follow up with something to act as a skin barrier since mine can be compromised. Interactions: Other than immediate retinoid interaction, I have had no other interactions with other skin products. It tends to play well with lots of skin products without being heavy. A blessing for us oily-skin girls. Perfume: This product includes some incredibly strong fragrance. It reminds me of some of my mothers beauty products from the 90's so it gives me some nostalgia, but if you are sensitive to perfume I would suggest avoiding this product, unfortunately. No, its not an exact dupe, but honestly the best moisturizer I have ever tried at this price point. Looking forward to trying the rest of their face products!

My search for a non greasy, non tacky moisturizer for oily/acne prone skin is finally over. I will be reordering this, even my sister loves it, and iquired about it. In my opinion the scent is soft, powdery, & baby like which makes sense due to it's ability to make your skin baby soft! It feels like water going on, it seeps in, seals in moisture and leaves your skin plump and soft. This cream is great for layering under make-up and other products which is very important to me, I started a 10 step K -beauty routine so finding a good quality lightweight but effective gel cream that can be used over and under other products without caking up is imperative. My only complaint would be that the writing on the box is in silver and the box is light blue, no contrast, so it is a bit of a eyesore. I'm not sure if the writing was in Korean or English but being a fan of the Elizaveccaa brand it probably had both. This doesn't bother me much, I still love this product. It's perfect for Oily skin and acne prone skin, albeit too lightweight for dry skin. What are you waiting for you have nothing to lose

floral grandma (as another reviewer referred to the scent) strikes again! i wanted to love this as a face moisturizer, but the scent was just too strong. the texture (between a gel and cream), waterbreak, and moisturizing factor are fantastic, though, so now i love it as a hand cream. it glides on and feels like it’s quenching dryness. there are plenty of pros if you can get around the scent, it’s fungal acne safe and doesn’t seem to contain much in the way of acne triggers in general. it’s light and doesn’t dry down tacky. highly recommend as a hand cream but just wasn’t for me for the face.

Just recieved this today and tested it out on my hand. It's amazing! The droplets actually appear which is so cool and it sinks into the skin pretty quickly. It leaves my skin feeling cooled and smooth and it isn't too heavy. My skin is normal/oily so finding the perfect consistency is important for me. This definately is perfect! I saw a lot of people complain about the smell when i read reviews, but it's not that present to me. Plus I think it smells very nice! A lot of Korean skincare tends to be scented from my expirence so I'm not bothered by it at all. Overall this was great! UPDATE: I LOVE this stuff. A little goes a long way and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft. I'm 100% buying more when I run out. The smell tones down overtime, but I like the smell. It's perfect and I love what it's been doing for me and my skin!

Beauty boxes are a great way to try many kinds of beauty products for a comparatively lower price but I don’t often find one I like enough to purchase separately; this was an exception. Elizavecca products have the weirdest product art but they’re the real deal. This water drop cream feels like a light moisturizer and only slightly tingles on my sensitive skin. However, hyaluronic acid is great stuff and I truly believe this is one step in my skincare that absolutely makes a difference. Please note that many of these Korean beauty products are meant to be part of the Korean skin care method. I apply this after cleansing, toning, applying an ampoule and serum. Many of these products work best to offset each other; ampoules and serums are oily but get absorbed better with complementary creams and moisturizers. Likewise, some retinol based eye creams ‘sting’ when you haven’t prepped your skin with other steps. The ten steps of Korean skin care sound daunting but I only use six of those steps in my daily routine; exfoliating, sheet masks and sunscreen may be optional on most days especially. Bare minimum, I do cleanser, toner, moisturizer. However, I truly enjoy this water drop cream and love it as a daily step. You only need a very small amount and this step in particular always mellows out the oils of the ampoule and serum just perfectly. I highly recommend this in your skin care routine. I hope to keep it a constant in mine!

very small jar. the product is lightweight and watery texture. it's nice and cooling and leaves skin soft, and it's hydrating, just not enough for me, unfortunately. absorbs very fast, but does not heal dry skin. it's more balm-y. i have to use a lot and have almost used the entire jar in just a few months.

I have extremely dry, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. This is the only moisturizer that I have found that not only doesn't irritate it, but also calms, soothes, and moisturizes. The CosDNA rating for this item is fantastic - 0's across the board for both irritants and comedogenic ingredients. I've tried the Dr Jart version of this moisturizer, but this one is far superior in my opinion. Texture: A gel cream that is smooth and light. When applied to the skin, it melts into a watery consistency that absorbs into the skin. When dry, you can barely tell you have anything on your face. Smell: There isn't a very strong fragrance, but what I can smell is just very "fresh" - nothing overpowering at all. In fact I would say it's more like there is no scent, even though "fragrance" is listed in the ingredients. Moisture: I would say an 8/10 - it is highly moisturizing for a gel. In asian skincare, it is common to "layer" products, however I would say this is enough on its own. Feeling: Cool and soothing - it feels like a drink of water for your face. It sounds like a cliche, but that's literally how it feels. Layering: Because asian skincare products are made to layer, this sits extremely well under makeup. It dries to a smooth finish that doesn't cause makeup to roll, crease, or break up. Packaging: Very aesthetically pleasing - the packaging is gorgeous. You will however need a spatula, since it is in a jar, which is the only downside. Skin types: I think this would work well for dry, combo, and even oily. Sensitive skin types as well - the ingredients are extremely soothing - my inflammation settles right down after applying this. Ingredients: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane, Glycerin, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Niacinamide, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Glycine Max (Soybean) Seed Extract, Milk Protein Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Seed Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Adenosine, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Fragrance I really hope they continue to make this! I am in love with it. The only criticism I have is that the packaging is not very hygienic. I wish it could be in a pump or squeeze tube, but a spatula solves the problem. However this product does not come with one, as many other Asian skincare products do - so you have to purchase separately if you don't have one already.

The only lotion that doesn't cause me to breakout. This cannot be understated. I have NEVER found a moisturizer that doesn't cause my skin to reject it, whether its too heavy, greasy, causes little whiteheads, etc. My skin just doesn't like moisturizer. I'm very sensitive and don't introduce new products very often, I just stick with natural stuff like aloe vera. I am neither oily nor dry, I have 'normal', sensitive, acne prone skin which is easily red and prone to whiteheads and breakouts on my cheeks if I use a certain makeup/skincare. Maybe it is the ingredients list of most products that I don't agree with, I've never been able to figure it out. All I know is that ive been using this for a few months and havent seen a single bump since I introduced it. I have my routine set and introduce new things slowly so I can see how my skin reacts. This lotion is amazing. Its very lightweight, but still effective. Great for day time under makeup or night time. It doesn't leave any type of "filmy" feeling. It doesn't cause breakouts. It leaves the skin feeling natural and hydrated and plump, no residue or grease. And my skin is noticeably more moisturized the next day. I have used soooo many expensive moisturizers, so the price is just absolutely unbelievable to me!! I would compare it to another favorite, Tidal from Sunday Riley, which is like $70 for the same size jar. It works better too! If you are hesitating, take the plunge!
