I bought this hard drive with some hesitation, but it turned out to be an excellent decision! Despite its Xbox branding, it works perfectly with my PS5. brought this specifically for the xbox and now on PC it works well still, note that if you do that same move you need to format the hard drive to get it to show and be able to work with the computer, however it will work if you go straight onto the computer.whilst the speeds aren't exactly nvme speeds but then you get 4tb for a much lower price and personally this is my second hard drive now as I like the option for space. The drive has worked since day one and hasn't crashed at all and none of the files have been corrupted since ownership. the storage is really good too, 4tb is a massive amount for games and other files plus having 2 bumping up to 8tb really there isn't much you can't download.The connection is usb is 3.2 for the better transfer speeds, again whilst you aren't getting the speeds of the nvme drives it is still really good transfer speeds.overall a great purchase the compact size does allow for easy portability if you need too, and the light green bar does give a little nice flair to the drive. The drive also comes with a 1 year backup warranty if anything is lost which is a nice additional touch to purchasing this the drives have not missed a beat and thoroughly happy with my purchases.

Very fast transfer speeds when transferring games, and downloading them too.. But beware only certain xbox games are allowed to run on the hard drive with the xbox. Found myself transferring more off of there and deleting games in internal just to play them. Old titles seem to work the best with this drive. So a little disappointed on that, but not the drives fault. Just have to buy the expansion drive that goes into the back of xbox. Will use this for pc in the future... Its a pity that the xbox doesn't tell you before downloading the game that only certain titles can be played on this hard drive, even though so-called xbox optimised and recognised & certified. A list should be created so your not downloading & waiting, only to be told it can't be played from the drive, and needs transferring to internal. (Why do you think i bought it) It was instantly recognised and formatted for games and media. So a little disappointed but 4tb(3.7tb after formatting) for 119 pounds is a steal at that price. Nice touch with the green light to, my 3rd seagate drive, and had some for years and still going strong. Built to last. But check which games can be used with the drive, if you can before downloading them..

Thought having the xbox series X with 1TB would be enough storage for me tbh as most the time when I'm finished with games I delete them to add more in the future but then buying the new call of duty games etc take some much storage up so needed more storage and would of liked the cartridge one like the old playstation one's but they're over priced as cost more with less storage then the seagate hard drives so got it for a Christmas present and surprised how small and compact it is,the USB cable isn't very long tbh but use it from the port on the front of the console and tucked away up the sideLike the green light and so easy to set up and use and always transferring from main storage to hard drive,I've heard that you need to keep series s/x games on console to play but shouldn't be a problem as its easy enough to transfer back and forth
