Just got this but I want to review it because I like it so much.Solid piece, small enough to hang on a sturdy hook or hide in a large drawer. I was worried it would be huge and it is not. Comes apart easily. Seems there is a nonstick coating on it, which I would rather not have due to health worries, but it means you can cook without seasoning (adding butter or oil) the pan. Hopefully it comes off after awhile and then starts to accept seasoning.Did two sandwiches on it. Took about 4-5 minutes total though if you like it light 2 minutes is plenty. Perfectly melted cheeses into the bread and meats. Makes the sandwich edges crispy and seats the sandwich contents in a delicious pocket of wow. I got this item for the ability to make little taste pockets (many other panini makers are more open and do not necessarily seal the food), omelets, and individual serving meats and sauteed veg.Comes with a recipe book (in Korean) but you can get some ideas from the photos.Will update if I have any problems.

Works well and does exactly what it promises. It holds large slices of bread and one is able to fit a lot of delectable stuff into sandwiches. However, because the cooking "pans" are thick, pan must be heated on stove for a longer time to get well grilled sandwiches. Only potential complaint - the "metal arms" appear a little thin and I worry that they may break while the rest of the unit is still in good shape.

Love this sandwich press, it makes the best sandwiches.When you make your sandwich and put in the pan then seal the lid it creates a pocket with crispy sides.Takes a little longer than just doing a grilled sandwich, but it is worth the extra time.

Works great. Having fun adapting recipes for use with it. My favorite is banana bread! If I heat it up for 1 minute, my breads will cook at 5 minutes on each side.

Almost all sandwiches taste better when they are grilled, and this thing-a-ma-jig does it really Great!
