Perfect and beautiful
OK, I did so much research trying to find the perfect cookware set and I landed on this set. Even above some of the more trendy brands that are non-toxic. I love that this is nickel free and no worrying about any chemicals coming out. You just need to heat the pan for about two minutes and drop water on it once that water droplet floats around the pan , you know it’s ready and it’s nonstick at that point. I have not had any issues getting these clean. I do dry them immediately after I wash them just so that there is no water spots.

Cookware feels extremely solid and well manufactured, outstanding customer service
Pleasantly surprised at the beauty and solidity of the cookware in this set!I recently changed from gas cooking to induction cooktops. I needed a new set of cookware that is induction compatible. I decided that, as long as I was buying new stuff, I would look for a “nickel free” solution. Hence, I found HomiChef. They are the only company I found that makes special stainless steel, nickel free.To my knowledge, stainless steel cookware is usually made with three metals: iron, chromium, and nickel. Most cookware is 18/10 stainless, or 18/8 stainless, which means the metal contains 10% nickel and 8% nickel, respectively. Many people have some allergies to nickel, and I suspect some nickel will leak into your food from cookware (My experience is that coffee stored in stainless steel thermoses tastes pretty terrible after a relatively short period of time.)HomiChef cookware is made with 21/0 and 18/0 stainless steel, no nickel. This set of stainless cookware is absolutely beautiful! It does require more attention and care than 18/10 and 18/8 stainless. The nickel makes the stainless steel harder. Hence, nickel free stainless will scratch more easily than standard stainless cookware.Pay attention to the instructions that HomiChef provides on how to care for your new cookware. For my impatient self, I didn’t read all the instructions first, so I stacked my new frying pans one on top of the other. I also used my old sponge (I thought it was scratch free, but I wasn’t sure). As a result, I have some very shallow scratches (cosmetically not pleasing) on my cookware . These scratches are very minor and do not affect my cooking at all. They are just annoying, and were completely avoidable.I bought myself some wooden cooking utensils, a new sponge, and a better way to store my new cookware. I do not stack my pans on top of each other directly. Instead, I use reusable grocery bags, which are made of cloth or a recycled version of plastic that feels like cloth. I tried using small towels between the frying pans, but I am impulsive and impatient sometimes, and I found that I would yank out the frying pan that was on the bottom, without being careful (yes, another cosmetic scratch). So I use bags. Way easier. Also, we are remodeling our house, and I don’t have much kitchen space. I found a unique way to store the HomiChef set: I stack the cookware in the reusable grocery bags inside a plastic storage bin. I included pictures, in case someone is in the same small space situation as me.I also included a picture of the plastic scrubber sponge that I use to clean the cookware. I can use that sponge to clean stuff that is really stuck on the bottom of the pan. I soak the pan with some hot water and dish soap for a few minutes. Then scrub the pan. I may only get about half the stuck food off, but I just rinse out the pan and repeat the process. I have found that cleaning stuck food in stages is more effective and way less frustrating. I have also included a pic of a page from HomiChef’s pamphlet that came with the cookware. You can see by the detail that HomiChef believes in their products, and really wants its customers to have a positive experience with their cookware.Lastly, but extremely important, is HomiChef customer service. This cookware set comes with a six year warranty, and from my experience thus far with HomiChef, I have no doubts that they will honor that warranty. Customer service responds quickly, and always respectfully, to all questions and concerns, and also offers other advice that you didn’t think to ask, but turns out to be very helpful!!!I hope this review is helpful!

Heavy duty, beautiful, and non toxic!
I was so excited to receive these pots and pans. They are wonderful. As long as you heat them properly they will not stick! The handles don't get extremely hot. I am just really happy I hope to have these for several years!

Good quality pots and safe
I really enjoyed my purchase and the pots seem to be of a good quality. What I enjoyed the most was their customer service. Very responsive and kind. I only talked to Lawrence though :)I just wish they didn’t have scaling mark inside of the pots.

Healthiest Cookware I've found!
I spent months researching cookware. I almost bought a set for $1,100 right before I found this one. First of all, when it comes to stainless steel cookware, 18/0 means there is 0 (zero) nickel. If you want to stay healthy, stay away from cookware that can leach metals like nickel into your food. We all should know by now that Teflon leaches "forever chemicals" - especially if the coating becomes scratched. Many product brands out there promote they are "18/0" - but the fact is, for the majority,18/0 is the outer layer, not the layer that touches your food. Even though 18/8 isn't horrible, there is still a bit of deception in advertising. HOMICHEF is truly NICKEL-FREE. Additionally, the cooking surface is technically 21/0. AND the HOMICHEF cookware set is 1/4 to1/2 the price of popular name brands.I absolutely LOVE this set. Learning to cook on stainless takes a little patience and a small learning curve. But the instructions are clear, and customer support is impeccable! Make sure you follow the "season" instructions exactly, and do not cook on high heat when frying. I let my pans cool completely before washing. Some reviews state the pans got discolored after cooking. This is technically normal. However, to avoid this, I immediately dry them after washing and spray the cooking surface with a bit of organic coconut oil. (use a paper towel or clean dry dishcloth to wipe out the excess). I use my frying pans every single day and they still look brand new.I'm personally impressed with this brand AND their incredible customer service.

Do not buy them.
It has been the worst product I have ever bought on Amazon. I have been using these pots and pans for almost two weeks already, and they are already rusty and stained. I bought them because they are nickel-free, but at this time, I honestly do not know if it is safe to use them for cooking. Do not buy them.

These are fantastic!
I had been toiling away using Xtrema Cookware for years! Then I noticed the company started failing in its cookware. You couldn't get replacement lids & the products seemed to breaking all the time, so I decided to look for stainless steel cookware. I was afraid foods would stick (so does Xtrema) & they would be hard to clean (so is Xtrema). However, I was pleasantly surprised! My food is not sticking & they are easy to clean with a non-abrasive dishrag made especially for washing stainless steel. The best thing is they are soooo light weight compared to Xtrema, & I don't have to worry about them breaking! This is one of the healthiest cookware sets out there!
