This dog gate was just what I was looking for. It wasn't hard to put together at all. My yorkies cannot get out because the latch keeps them in. The gate is very sturdy once install so it doesn't swing, I bout two gates so I can make a small playground for them to have recess. That way them had room to run, so I expanded the size. This medium gate is perferfect for small animals. The price was not bad for this gate. I must say. The gate looks very nice.

Oh, do I ever have two scamps - or should I call them convicts? Two little pipsqueaks that get into anything and everything. A baby Yorker, and a bossy dachshund rules this house. I needed a gate across a doorway to keep them corralled in their play area. But I wanted something attractive, like a piece of nice furniture. This gate is really beautiful. Made very well, strong, heavy, and works perfectly. I love this gate. My dogs hate this gates. It is very attractive and sturdy, against the forces of evil. I no longer have sticks and pine cones drug into my living room. I highly recommend this lovely gate.

These gates are versatile and nice looking. I have several in both tall and short. I have 3 dogs and one needs to be separated. These gates have been a life saver. I use in addition to tension gates to add a barrier, block a view and reinforce distance. I love the shorter ones for temporary divisions, easy to move yet sturdy enough to separate or use as a boundary.

This is a nice dog gate, made of what appears to be wood based on weight. White paint is evenly applied and there were no defects. My opening was is nearly 61 inches. Do make sure that you size up in width so that you can shape gate per the suggested accordion configuration. The item I purchased was 24” high, and 4 panel.At time of purchase gate support feet were not offered. That would have been a nice option to know about. I will try without feet. No assembly needed.I would recommend in lieu of baby gate.

This gate is well constructed, look great and stops my Yorkie from getting into places that she should not be. I have a few of them and they are easily moveable and configurable. Love them!

Attractive and well built; however, my mini dachshund can still climb over it!!!

2022 UPDATE: 3 years later we still love and use this gate daily!The hinge screws did come loose about a year or so into using the gate, so we glued all of the screws into the wood and haven’t had any problems since.Now that our pup is 3 years old and 10lbs, we use the gate to keep her downstairs during the day. (She likes to sneak up to bark at whatever she can out the bedroom window) It has also been helpful to keep her in/out of an area while we mop, unload the car, etc.She has figured out how to push the end of the gate open if we don’t set it up right. But as long as we have the hinge in the right direction and it butted up against the stairs she cant sneak through.We are 100% happy with this purchase!2019 review:We’ve had this gate for our new puppy for about 3 weeks now. Our puppy is just over 2lbs and she cannot fit her head through the slats or push it over when set properly. We were worried we might need to buy feet for it to keep it stable, but not necessary. We ordered the 24 inch/4 panel and we absolutely love it. It’s wide enough for our oversized hallway into the living room and allows us to keep her on one side or the other. We have hardwood floors and can slide the end panel and walk through and shut it very easily. And being barely 5’2”, I love that I can even step over it if my hands are full!Hinges seem good and is overall pretty sturdy, granted, we haven’t moved it around much aside from folding it up at night and going in and out, but so far so good. The quality seems good for the price and and we are optimistic it will last for a long time.
