Rigid Industries Amber Backlit LED Rear Light Assembly

These are my second Rigid Light Radiance purchase and I really love them. The backlight is awesome for enhancing my running lights and these lights are much brighter than I actually expected. They really light up the area around my truck and are a great addition to my lightbar!

The RIGID Pods themselves are perfect!However, give the customer the option to pay more for the Hood brackets by inputting make & model.Or at the very least increase price but definitely MUST INCLUDE wiring harness because fine, I ordered my Toyota Sequoia hood brackets but now I’m out searching wiring harness which I shouldn’t have to do, just increase price & I will gladly pay extra for correct harness already in the box to 1st turn on amber backlighting along with my parking lights or fog lights then include separate switches to turn on additional LED lights!

awesome backlight, it isn't super bright but the amber matches the parking lights , led white output was better than expected

Wanted to like this; but had to return them. The description for these amber lights wasn't clear enough to me.I *thought* I was buying amber colored lights suitable for fog/trail offroad driving.What I got was a Cool White "main" LEDs with amber colored "accents". This means these wouldn't be suitable for heavy fog or dusty offroading trails.Because of this; I returned them to Amazon for a refund. That said; the lights appeared to be nice … just didn't meet my specific needs. In fact; none of the "led cubes" appear to meet my needs of outputting AMBER light. As a result; I'm going to have to custom design something.If your looking for some street cred having some accent lighting... then these are for you.If you are looking for trail suitable lighting to aid in visibility off road dust or in Fog; these won't meet your needs.

Operates as days. Good light pattern able to run as fog lights and do not get brighted

These lights kinda suck. Many people, including myself, decided to go with amber with the idea of wiring into their current OEM amber lighting. At night the Radiance backlight is sorta neat, but very dim. Can't even notice it during the day. Cree lens just obscures the four leds too much. The amber backlighting doesn't hold a candle to the OEM incandescents. The Product Concept was a great idea. The execution was terrible. I'm sure they'll end up re-engineering them in a year or so and come out with a Radiance 2 Line.EDIT 3/9/2017: I stated earlier that the CREE's weren't as good and that they were different. I was mistaken and apologize. I was at about 50' when adjusting the 20" lightbar as well as the pods and for some reason thought the Pod CREEs were spot and that they didn't make near the pattern. They're actually flood - that's the reason, and appear to be just as effective as the adjacent floods found on the E2 series 20" light bar. But still - the radiance backlighting leaves quite a bit to be desired.EDIT 6/22/2021: Nothing has changed. My review stands as written. Lights continue to behave as I stated. Looks like they DID INDEED come out with a newer version. Maybe the backlighting is better? Regardless, no leaks and no issues aside from what's stated.

Comparing these to the last set I had from Rough Country. I bought 4 of these to replace 2 from Rough Country and these 4 Rigid are maybe as bright as the 2 RC's. The amber DRL on these is useless and can't be seen in the 6am sun and barely noticeable at night, RC's DRL bright in the day. Couldn't even get these installed without finish coming off, RC's lasted over a year. Came with all bright silver hardware and brackets with a black cube, awful. No wire harness or switch, RC's came with both and a light cover. Worst mounting setup ever, RC's had threads in cube for easy install. These Rigids make you hold a tiny nut from the underside between the heat fins to thread into, who ever thought that was ok should be fired. The only good part about these lights is that you pay about 60+ dollars more for them and then shell out another 70 for their wiring harness.(sarcasm)
