EasyComfortsKnee Brace with Metal Support, Womens

I've had RA since I was 11 years old...I'm now 33. I used knee braces quite a bit when I was younger, but its been at least 15 years since I've owned a set.I ordered two of these braces, one for each knee, because I'm having a flare that is making my knees slip out of place. Very painful. I was looking for something to give me more stability when I'm moving through my work day. Thats exactly what they give me. I feel much more stable when doing things like going up and down stairs.I read some reviews stating they were too big. I will say that the "sleeve" part of the brace is as small as it can go on me, and its not tight. However, there are Velcro straps above and below the knee to secure the brace, and they would go much smaller than where I wear them. I like this design, because its comfortable to wear all day. The neoprene sleeve doesn't cut into my swollen knees and doesn't leave marks on my skin. The covered metal hinges allow for a wide range of motion.Overall, I'm impressed with this brace and how it functions, and you can't beat the price.

Before I purchased this I read through the questions and reviews. Many times I read this brace would stop hyperextension of the knee. It arrived and looks reasonably well made for the price, was comfy, and did absolutely nothing to stabilize my knee. NOTHING. My knee bent backwards as always. The little metal supports are cute but don't seem to actually do anything. I don't even want to give this to Goodwill because I would hate for someone to buy it thinking they were getting a good brace. It is comfy and it stays on, which would be pluses if it actually worked.

My knees are terrible from too many years of high level exertion and severe punishment they both need replacing. I have tried almost every brace and sleeve that are at reasonable cost. This is the first brace I found that works very well without going into the hundreds. It allows my knee to do whatever and also gives the support I need when it gives out. My only complaint IF I were to have one would be it does not fit well under most of my clothing mostly jeans but slacks, sweatpants it will be slightly noticeable. I love this! I am considering getting a pair as a back up. I would highly recommend this. However, I have only had mine a few short weeks. So I will see how long it last. If anything changes I will come back and update whatever happens.

Where this product falls short is the bands that wrap around the leg are cut short. It just barely fits around your leg, the too ends just meet. And my thigh size is only 17 inch. The material/band needs to be longer to be able to rap it around the thigh more than what is product provides. And to make matters worse, It fastens behind the leg. Not everyone is agile to fasten it BEHIND the knee, especially if you have knee discomfort/pain. They did the same thing with the Velcro tightening straps. Those as well, end up behind the knee. I switch them. But the way it was designed, you need to dismantle all the straps to get it off. Very frustrating. Also, On mine the two metal hinged bars, both were not facing the same direction. One bent forward, the other backward. I had to switch the one. I defiantly would have returned it, but I have too much knee pain and its better than nothing, I needed some kind of support asap.

I had issues with the other braces because of how they were all material and hinge but with this being so minimalistic it works better for me and my body

Excellent for stability. I can't have any pressure on my kneecap and this product was perfect. I had a lot of swelling under my kneecap which caused instability and this brace allowed me to walk and keep my job as a cashier. The only problem I had was the stitching above the side braces ripped out. My son hand stitched it back together but it eventually ripped out again so I bought a new one. Not sure if I used it too much, every day all day, or if it was defective. I haven't used the new one yet. The swelling went away so I am going it alone for now. Glad to have it for back up though.

I disliked the brace because it didn't fit. I adjusted it all the way, and it still was to small. I am disappointed. By handling the product it seemed to be thin yet padded for comfort. WHICH was that REASON I ordered it. I WANTED SOMETHING THINNER I COULD WHERE UNDER BUSINESS PANTS.This seems to be a good product for that but as stated it's for small people. I have to send it back. But if you have a really small leg it would seem to be the answer.

I used it fore a week of golf in Hilton Head. I'm glad that I purchased it fore use of my recently scoped knee. It did stabilize the knee.

Awesome. Awaiting a knee replacement and now I have so much less pain on walks.
