GLLW11 HIVIZ Sight Systems, Litewave Rear Sight, Glock 42 in .380, Green, Red, and Black, One Size

Just received this sight to be installed on a Glock 43x.A few observations:1) I had never before changed the sights on a Glock or any other pistol. I was a little anxious.2) By simply placing the slide on the edge of a table, the factory rear sight came out easily by tapping on it with a hammer and nylon punch.3) Installing the HiViz sight was a little more difficult as I attempted the same method as step two.4) When the new sight didn’t move much with the nylon punch, I switched to a steel punch, being very measured with my hammer. With just a little extra force, using the steel punch, the sight went into place. It did leave a slight scratch on the side of the sight, but nothing I am concerned with.5) Installing the front sight is so easy a fourth grader could do it. However, I did use the sight hex tool, with a dap of loctite “blue”.6) I installed the HiViz tubes last so as not to damage them during installation.I am very pleased with myself as well as the HiViz sights, and very proud of the Glock 43x (my favorite carry pistol), now with NIGHT SIGHTS!

The sights are good and work but I am unable to see them at all in dim light. I reached out to HiViz directly to ask about Military discount which they replied only for active duty. To buy the additional night sight replacement pieces, you will need to go through the company andbpay for shipping, as far as I know. This turns into an additional $50 quickly, just for the replacement fiber. Not worth spending all the extra with so mny other good night sight options. I would not buy this again for night.

Installed on my Glock 42 was easy to install with a sight pusher look good so far, haven’t had a chance to shoot with the new sights yet!

My wife loves the sights, they matche those on her S&W Shield Performance Center 9mm perfectly. Great price and prompt Prime shipping.

Sight width is too narrow. Looks weird on gun.
