I use a vacuum cupping therapy machine and need to switch back and forth between one and two hose ends multiple times during a session. This tool is fast, easy and reliable. once locked it doesn't slip off. One think I have done is wrap one layer of electrical tape on the jaws since many uses with the steel does degrade the hose. With the tape on it I get the advantages of steel durability and secure lock along with the wear advantages of plastic jaws. Plus the price was right vs medical specialty tools.

Real smooth.
The major draw to this item is the fact that it has smooth edges. Smooth edges prevent cutting tubes when clamping them down. The product they gave me was a serrated clamp.
