Dark Room Photography Guide #1: How to Make Your Own Dark Room and Set Up Darkroom Equipment

This book is s great way to start your journey into film developing. I would recommend read this and watching videos on film development before you attempt to develop your first roll or set of film.

No illustrations, completely left out the concept of wet side/dry side in designing a darkroom, nothing new if you have ever been in a darkroom before. Gotta admire the author for giving it the ol’ college try at makin’ a fast buck but I feel like I’ve been had.

This was a very informative book! It helped me immensely when setting up a dark room in my apartment while being on a strict budget! Worth the purchase 100%!

A few photos of setting examples would have been appreciated. Good info but visual examples would have made this a much better buy

This book has no insight beyond the most basic common sense (eg set up your darkroom in a place that get no light!). There is no technical information about which kinds of equipment might be useful, or anything particularly useful on layout. Mercifully this book is short so you will waste little time with it.

Excellent condition!

The author should be embarressed at charging $9.99 for this. The cover looks great, and that's about it. No pictures, no new ideas,too many pages are completely blank. This reads as a high schoolers quicky research paper that someone thought they could throw out on Amazon and make money as a "book.". So thankful I didnt waste my money on the second book. Do yourself a favor, pass on this school paper posing as a "book."

Brilliant, really enjoyed it.Extremely well put together and helped me immensely.I would definitely recommend this to anybody thinking is setting up a permanent Darkroom.

There are 21 pages of large type content in this ‘book’ with lots of blank pages and hardly any useful content. No images, diagrams or any other useful advice or content. The first chapter ‘choosing a room’ consists of three paragraphs with the sole advice ‘choose a light sealed room and put a lock on so nobody comes in’ - this theme of no content continues throughout the pamphlet mixed with the author’s commentary “if you’re clumsy like me...”It seems that this product is printed by amazon directly.I would not be surprised if it was auto generated by an algorithm as I cannot believe any editor would give the green light on this.My advice is don’t buy this and read some articles on the internet (i’ve found much better information online) or buy another book that was written by a true author (maybe from years ago when film photography was in its heyday)

Utter garbage and not worth the cost of the paper it was printed on. Half this content thin booklet consists of blank pages, the other half isn't worth reading either. Save your money and do a quick search of the web - a blank Google search page is more informative. A half star is too good for this junk. And these are the good points.
