Sacred Strength Superfood (Sacred Strength, 10 oz)

I've never seen another company do quite what Sarvaa Superfood does as far as their ability to combine the best ingredients from East and West, powerful superfoods, adaptogenic herbs, greens, mushrooms and more...while still tasting delicious! Not to mention they are organic, non-gmo, raw, vegan, paleo friendly, gluten free, soy free, cane sugar free and low glycemic. These superfoods make me feel really good consuming them. This particular meal is more grounding than their Cacao Plus or Mayan Chocolate; I view it as a Root Chakra tune up. ;) The taste is mellow and nice with hints of cinnamon--kind of tastes like a soft earthy chai. I like to add extra cinnamon to mine. :) Blends wonderfully with a banana and/or almond butter, too. I usually just have it in water with a splash of unsweetened almond-coconut milk. Superb!

I'm really impressed with the ingredients of this, and I feel the taste is good when I'm in the mood for a bit of "earthy chai". But my girlfriend loves it. Actually craves it. Must be the combo of the protein and the adaptogen herbs and all those roots. Anyway, I feel good every time I use it. Oh, and in straight water as opposed to coconut milk, I didn't expect it to taste good at all and I actually liked it a lot. Maybe my taste expectations were lowered and just wanted the health benefits. I've been reading up on some of these ingredients and am really intrigued by the long-term benefits of Adaptogens. I showed this to my Naturopathic Doctor and she was also very impressed with the unique ingredients. And so far, I like the company a lot. Looked around their nice website and got a good feeling about their values etc. And so far customer service is really good too.

I got this for my daughter as she believes in it and keeps her healthy although I paid fifty dollars for it and she went home to Durango and paid twenty five for it on sale.

I gave this a try on two separate days but sadly, it is just not for me. I wanted to like it because it has a ton of wonderful ingredients -- lots of roots that are good for you but tend to get overlooked in other, similar mixes.I put it into a smoothie with (unsweetened) almond milk and frozen mixed berries. It blended well enough, especially since I used my immersion blender. (The package says "shaken, not stirred" but I really think the immersion blender was essential. I almost never have good luck with shaker cups.) There was just something off about the taste. It didn't go well with the other ingredients in my smoothie.I really wish amounts of liquid were listed on the package. I used a half serving in 5 ounces of almond milk (plus the aforementioned fruit). But this is the kind of thing where too much powder can ruin the overall shake/smoothie. 1 and 1/2 tablespoons in 5 ounces of liquid blended all right.This has a great amount of protein (11 g per full serving) and a reasonable amount of fiber (3 g). You can see the full list of ingredients and the nutrition facts panel if you look at the product images. Sugar is quite low and it's not added sugar, it's all natural sugar from the various roots -- the best kind for you.I didn't feel particularly different after consuming this. Maybe I didn't take enough of it? Or maybe you need to try it for more than two days to see the effects? (I couldn't take the flavor enough to try it for more than two days, unfortunately.) If you are following a specialized diet, this is vegan, non-GMO, organic, gluten free, and Paleo diet-friendly.Anyway, good ratings for the nutrition and the flavor may work for some people (just not me).
