My daughter hates this book. Fortunately, she was allowed to purchase this without the access card (note that this used book may or may not include the card), and since the cards are one-time use, you will likely not find a used iHealth book with an unused card, so we were not expecting the card, and her instructor let her know that the card (for access to study guides) would not be necessary for the course. What stinks about this book is the way it is written and how the course is taught, spending a lot of time on exercise content that is better suited for physical education or physical health courses. This book and the course does not spend enough time on traditional health topics like alcoholism, drug addiction, etc.

Not An Accurate Description
I doubted whether the code came with the textbook as stated in the description so I called and asked Amazon whether it came with it. Amazon's rep told me it did. It does not. Repeat: The code for the virtual part of the class is not included. My advice: Check your university's library first. Then rent this book and finish the class in the first week or so with the free trial.

The book was really easy to read
The book was really easy to read. However, most of it seemed like common knowledge/stuff you could search on the internet if you didn't already know it. There were some parts of the book that seemed really opinionated for a text book and somewhat sexist. Not useful as reference for research data aside from a few statistics. Boring to read when you have to use it for a text book. Didn't find it well written.

The book is a waste of time for anyone who knows anything about health and appears designed so colleges can force students to buy it. Nevertheless, it was what I ordered and it was delivered quickly.
