Excellent Solution for maintaining presence of your license plate while having a winch. Made with heavy duty metal and strong abs plastic for the hinge. Also doesn't require removal of your fairlead to install. Loosen the two fairlead mounting bolts and it slides behind it. There's also a slot to slide over your winch cable. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I expected the hinge to be spring loaded, where as it would "snap" into either up or down positions. Instead it moves freely up and down, but the hinge isn't loose to where it flops in and out of desired positions. Whatever position you move it to, it stays. I would definitely recommend it as the only other available products just clamp on and risk loss of your license plate.

So this product is solidly built and great design. Unfortunately the package I got from Cascadia 4x4 was missing most of the hardware. It came with one of the 8 nuts listed in the instructions, 2 of 8 screws and 2 of eight rubber washers. Not cool.Update: Cascadia 4x4 Is sending out a complete replacement hardware set at no cost. Their great customer service is totally willing to make things right. Solid company that stands behind a very well built product. Thanks guys.

What a cool little product. The friction hinges work great and the frame is made from 1/8" thick aluminum. It's flat black, maybe a satin or eggshell finish. Whatever it's black. All of the hardware is included too. Will definitely buy another 2 more of these for my other truck to hide the fairleads and hooks on both ends. Very slick.

I liked it enough I bought a second one for my other winch bumper.

Being from a Canadian province that requires a front license plate, I looked for months and months for something that would not only work good but also look good with my winch and the Factor 55 FlatLink. After talking with a few representatives from the company I decided that the Flipster made for the roller fairlead would work the best so that I could get enough space between the winch and the license plate. It was a simple and easy install that allowed for easy access to the FlatLink. Very happy with the product and would recommend this to anyone looking for a front license plate mount.

This thing is so dang cool! The engineering behind this product is awesome. The fact that they designed it so you DO NOT have to completely remove your fairlead (but just loosen the bolts enough to slide this behind...) is such a great idea. The fact they chose to build it from VERY sturdy, high quality metal is also pretty awesome. I only had mine installed for a few hours when I received my first compliment! If you have a roller fairlead (as I do) the license plate frame doesn't quite fold ALL the way down - but it's barely noticeable. Maybe it's only down 80° instead of 90° but that's not a problem for me. It still looks and functions great and exactly as advertised.
