Great AC/DC fuel pump, Diesel AND Gas compatible
I bought 3 of these a couple of years ago, one for gas, one for diesel and one for water and they worked great. They can be used with Gas AND Diesel. Loved how you can use the AC plug (about 8'cord) or use the DC cord/alligator clips (about 8' cord) for connecting to the battery on the machine. The fuel hose is also around 8', does not auto shutoff but can be set it to "hands free" as long as your there to eyeball the fuel level. The hose is plastic but is actually pretty durable, I do take care NOT to kink it or pull on it real hard just to be safe. We've probably used around 200+ gal so far thru each one and worked fine (and probably twice that with the wife watering her plants.) I did have one die this summer. Not sure why but got another one to replace it. They MAY not fit some 5 gal cans, they fit a couple of mine but wouldn't fit the others. I now use them with 4-14 gal fuel tanks for (2) gas and (2) diesel. (and an extra one for the water) My original plan was to use one pump for gas and diesel but was afraid of getting too much diesel mix in the gas for the smaller tanks on push mowers, pressure washers, etc. but the pumps do drain really good when done but I got tired of bringing the tanks to the machine or pushing them to the shop to fuel so I just kept my 2 gallon can for those. I use the pump and larger tanks for the tractors, riding mowers, SxS, etc. Mines the old version tanks with the two brass shutoff's. You do have to lay the tanks down to use these pumps, the same way you fuel them. We are both retired and the wife can still wheel these around the shop and fuel the equipment.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MT94QA?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details

They're GREAT!
Couldn't be happier with the gas pumps I bought. Easy-to-understand directions, and best of all, I don't have to lift the darned 5 gallon cans of gas anymore!!!! Great delivery and I know my neighbor will love his, too. Thank you!

Good quality
This Terra-Pump was easy to assemble and use. The speed of the diesel flow was less than expected, but adequate. Build quality is excellent. Would buy again.

and using it 3 times) Following the directions to a T each time the forth attempted use the pump sounded like it was pumping but did not
I bought this pump expecting to use it for a long time. Considering its cost you would expect it to last a long time. It lasted three uses.(5 months time span from purchasing, receiving, and using it 3 times) Following the directions to a T each time the forth attempted use the pump sounded like it was pumping but did not. After taking the pump out of the fresh fuel can and examining it and not seeing anything physically wrong with the pump. I placed it back into the tank to attempt another pump. This time the pump simply did not turn on. Contacting the seller I was referred to the manufacture. The product has a year warranty but you must pay for return shipping. For me that is over the 4th of the way in on buying a new pump if I re-bought this one but I'm looking elsewhere as I've found battery powered ones similar to this one for much cheaper.. Also I have always been told that no place will accept returns for an item that has had fuel placed in it due to shipping companies seeing it as a hazard. Their explanation of why the pump stopped was "the motor may be wearing down." Not wanting to pay to return the it I decided to figure out what was wrong. After testing a few things I eventually found out that the power adapter was bad. Using a device I have that lets me set whatever voltage/amperage I desire I was able to successfully power the device up by setting it to what the output is supposed to be for the adapter. Contacting them again to simply ask for a power adapter was met that they do not carry any spare parts. You must ship the whole pump back or nothing at all. This to me honestly seems unacceptable in my eyes. In this day and age selling a device as much as they are and cannot simply keep spare parts on hand just seems outrageous. So I would keep that all in mind while looking to purchase this product. Mine was for the 120v plug in the wall one. Most of the good reviews here seem to be for the battery powered. To the ones who have leaks. If it is leaking from the black hose coming from the pump then you can simply use a small plastic wedge to gentle wedge around the plastic that holds the hose on and it will come off. Press the hose closer to the pump and then push the plastic piece back into place. If its coming from the nozzle side unhook the clamp and using a pair of pliers(maybe two) squeeze the spring so it bends a little to give a more tight grip. For people who have it coming out of the body. You must remove the bottom sticker and three screws. Using a plastic pick run it on the back side of the grey handle and it will pop open. Inside there is a little semi clear piece that plugs into a hole that goes all the way down to the motor that drives the pump. This plastic piece can be loose and it will leak fuel everywhere if it is not properly pressed in. Make sure there aren't any holes then press it in a little more and put the handle back together. It could also be where they seal the wiring through a rubber gasket but doubtful. Shouldn't have anymore leaks. For people who had the hose break you can hopefully find a plastic replacement from other sources and do the instructions above. To people wondering why I say how to fix all those problems? Well because there are people who wasted a lot of money and it appears the manufacture won't be helping unless you wish the pay a lot to send it back so hopefully I helped you solve some of the problems. I will say if your not confident in what your doing(or know what your doing to be honest) I wouldn't suggest the taking the handle apart. This is a device that has explosive fuel moving through it so if you mess up it may go boom. Anyways I make no claims that I know what I am talking about nor do I take responsibility if you do anything wrong. Just trying to help people.

Awesome Pump!
This is my second TeraPump. They work great and are much more durable than any other pump of this kind that I have ever used. If you’re looking for a simple and reliable pump that will last for a while I highly recommend Terapump.

Why did it take me so long to get this !!
This unit works as advertised....and saves the back aches, gas spills and is a great unit to use on the docks. No more sloping down the side of the cars, no more spilling into the lake, pumps a 20 liter gas can in a few minutes. The two D cell batteries have lasted more than 25 fills so far, and the pump end of the unit fits all major gas / diesel can openings. Nifty on/off handle works well as well. UL approved is reassuring.

It works but is cheap and slow
It saves you from having to pick up a 5 gallon gas tank but there is no auto shut off as some have said. It is slow and much like a toy but it works.....

It does work, but.
Used to top up the fuel (gas / petrol. ) in an SUV Tucson.Well made but has trouble transferring fuel from ground level to the fuel Tank, seems a little underpowered....have to raise the fuel container up around 12inches to pump successfully to the tank.....
