Big improvement over my previous projectors
Before I get into my review of this Yaber projector, I wanted to explain my history with projectors. I had bought my first projector, a Xinda, in November of 2018. I was OK with it, but not too impressed. It completely stopped working after just 3 months. Xinda was initially good to work with. They had me purchase their new model and refunded my money. That projector lasted only 8 months. This time Xinda was completely unresponsive to my emails. After several weeks of emails to Xinda, and calls to Amazon, I was allowed to return the projector – minus a $40 restocking fee! I was not happy about the fee, but glad to get rid of the Xinda projector, and their poor customer service.I decided to take a chance with this Yaber projector – and so far I’m glad I did. Immediately upon turning it on, I could tell that it was an improvement over the Xinda. Colors are more crisp and vibrant. Blacks are darker. Dark scenes in movies are much more clear. The projector is brighter – even with some lights on the images still look good. The sound is better than expected, though most of the time we listen through the stereo system. The images are very clear – there is no doubt this is a 1080 projector. I imagine there are projectors with slightly clearer images, but I expect you would have to pay twice or 3X as much to get it.I really like the zoom function. Since I already had the mount installed in my ceiling, I didn’t want to have to drill new holes and patch the old ones. The zoom allows me to use my old mount and adjust the zoom to fit the screen perfectly.I’ve sent one email to the manufacturer with a question, and they responded very quickly. Assuming Yaber’s customer service stays excellent, and the projector lasts for the 3 years it is under warranty, I’ll give this projector 5 stars and recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly, but excellent clarity, projector.

Excellent, especially for video game lag.
I've been through half a dozen projectors, and I have to say this is my favorite one. I liked it so much, I bought a couple. Here are some highlights: Game Mode is great feature because it eliminates input lag from the game controller. Not all projectors have this feature. I use blue tooth speakers, so there are no sound issues. However, the built-in speaker is also a decent (bonus). The Key stone options are exceptional! You can control each corner of the picture, bend it/stretch it/shrink it/flip it/reverse it/fold it, etc. this is essential because it allows you to line up the picture perfectly to your viewing screen. It also has a nice zoom feature that appears to retain image quality. It displays the amazon firestick, netflix, etc. flawlessly 1080p/4k comparable. Everything looks amazing with the vibrant colors. However, I'm also a vhs and laserdisc enthiusiast...so I was looking for a projector that would work well with old media formats to include proper aspect ratio options. This gives you those options. Needless to say, this works very well. VHS, Laserdisc, Old media formats look like they should from back in the day (which is quite the feat on modern equipment). As for the modern media, yes; comparable to 4K. Everything looks crisp. The amount of picture and sound options is very good for the price. I had other yaber projectors, and this is my favorite. Enjoy :-).

A great value at $200! Solid brightness and clarity.
I’ve used this projector for near 6 months now, and I’ve not run into a single issue. Never overheated, never crashed, no picture clarity or burn-in issues after several hours of usage a week for half a year. For a Chinese no-name device, it has been rock-solid in reliability so far. The software experience is also easy to use.Its unusable in full daylight. It’s not great in a somewhat lit room. But if you close the blinds and shut off the lights, it should be alright. I use mine pretty much exclusively at night, and its perfect at that. Clear and bright picture.YOU WILL NEED AN AUX CABLE SPEAKER, and I recommend a projector tripod stand. This is where I’ve removed a star. The internal speakers are tinny and quiet, and when set up with a Bluetooth speaker there is noticeable delay, even when using sound timing adjustment software. There’s also no way to attach a tripod to the Yaber, so if you plan to adjust the screen without needing to pile it on books, you’ll need to buy a stand as well.Overall, PERFECT reliability, GREAT picture and software in dim/dark rooms, but POOR built in sound and no tripod support. Definitely a recommend in the no-name brand cheaper projector space.

Good projector, be patient with setting it up.
The media could not be loaded. Great projector, works well even in dimly lit room. Works perfectly in darkened room, clear picture, easy remote functionality and manual is easy to understand. Took a little while to set it up, position and use remote to dial in picture settings but overall happy with the experience. The con I have is I had to go and buy some additional accessories such as hdmi splitter to get sound to work from certain apps such as netflix, prime, hulu when casting to chromecast from Android(got picture but no sound) think it has something to do with HDCP compliancy and anti piracy. Screen mirroring works from Galaxy note 20 but again wasn't able to watch those apps. Hdmi splitter solved issue, just plugged in chromecast to input then out to projector and sound bar. Some phones may not work with mirroring so easy fix for this is to get adapter and extra cord. For my phone I got a usbc to hdmi adapter and a 6 foot male to male hdmi adapter and that worked well. One other con is built in speaker isnt that loud, but lets get real, when watching a movie most of us are gonna use external speakers, which leads to a pro, the Bluetooth works great. Overall experience was good!
