I had a brushless Makita impact driver for years and for some reason the gears sheered in it. So being a die hard Makita consumer, I bought this model above. It's faster than the last one I had and stronger too with some features that my old one didn't have also. So it's very nice for me and works great as do all Makita products.

I was issued this tool for work. I loved it so much that I bought one. I lost mine and now this is my 2nd one. Kick a$$ power and battery life. I like this impact over the red and yellow impacts.

I abused my previous one and it broke. This is the same one and works great. Still nothing like the Milwaukees which are a beast!

I have purchased a few drills over the years, and each one is a vast improvement over the previous ones. This one is no exception. With the three-speed range settings, I can now sink screws without damaging the heads. Lots of torque in this one. It has the usual quick change head; it is nicely balanced and light enough to work with for extended periods. It's an excellent addition to anyone's tool bag if you are standardizing on Makita.

Very impressive little tool which pack a lot of punch for its size. It performs like a Makita! My only huge disappointment is that is was made in communist China which was something the dummy Rufus was not willing to disclose, providing some typical BS feedback instead! Shame on Makita for not choosing a different and more sensible location to produce its power tools!

I've been using makita impact drivers for about 14 years (HVAC technician) warn out a few, lost a couple, theft of another. This one is by far the best of the best. It's light, very powerful (in that setting), also can be delicate (in that setting). Batteries last a long time and it's really not very expensive. This is the best value I've ever felt with any of the tools I've purchased. Makita knocked it out of the park with this one. Definitely recommend.

This tool is a deceptively powerful. Tool. I do not have a lot of hours on this. In fact, I have not even exhausted one of the batteries on it yet, but I think this will be perfect. It usually took off lug nuts on both of my Subaru's and even took the lug nuts off my F 350 van. Most of the time I will probably be using it to drive. Sheet metals Screws. And tightening and loosening much smaller lower torque. Folds down the lug nuts. Now, as for the seller. Even after contacting them, they did not. Rectify my initial complaints with them. Their pictures clearly illustrate that it would be shipped in a box and it should have included a manufacturer instruction and warranty booklet. What I received was literally a bear tool inside a double bubble wrap USPS envelopes. I would recommend that you get this tool just that you get it from a different supplier.Latul has great balance. And well placed buttons and controls. My ideal unit. Would be this one. With 2 LED lights on it. One on the bottom wicked has. Add another one on the top. Many times the screw you are trying to drive. Is in the shadow of the single LED located on the bottom?
