Modeling Light for the AD200
I really only picked this up because of the built in modeling light when using my Godox AD200 in studio and the fact that there is no light leak like you will get in an ordinary S2 bracket. Can be used with a single AD200 but keep in mind that only one of the two modeling lights will work inthis mode, you need two AD200's connected for both modeling lamps to work... and yep they are 3 stage and pretty bright. If you already have two of these Godox lights there will be no need to go out and buy an AD300 or 400. Cost savings engaged lol, you're welcome

Great
GodoX did an amazing job with this product. If you're looking for a cost-effective option, then this is the perfect fit for you. We highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on different strobe lights.

great with the EC200 extensions
On light stand, heavy with two AD200's. Picked up the extensions (EC200) to lower center of gravity. The modeling lights are really bright. A great addition given none available with AD200's alone.

Does exactly what you think it would
The cheapest way to get an ad400 if you already have a handful of 200s around.

Good, but not a "pro" version
For $59, this is a good product. But a lot of Godox/Flashpoint products first generation is like a beta test, then they come out with a "pro" version. Their AD200 and bowens mount are like that. The pro/S2 fixes faults of the first generation. I say that to lower expectations. The flash operation is flawless so far, but I only had one shoot with it. I won't really know until I am out for a couple hours in bright sun shooting at 1/1. But so far, I love it. My main issue is the wonky stand mount and adjustment handle. Fortunately, I have the older S1 bowens mount, so I swapped handles. That at least lets me adjust the angle with a reflector attached. But it is still wonky compared to to the S2 bowens mount, which is a "pro" fit-- with $600 of equipment at stake, I would pay $20 more for a better mount like the S2 versus S1. My second issue is I wish the flashes mounted such that they slide in versus out. I use the silicone covers, so it is a tight fit, but does work. I have had my flashes hit the ground before so I won't give up the covers. By the way, I am using the Flashpoint eVolve, so there is no compatibility issue.
