Excellent Spider Mite Scourge!
Great seller. Fast service, and definitely the most versatile and low humidity tolerant predatory mite. Don’t bother getting the filler all over your flowers. Sprinkling at the base of the plant will do it.Perfect spider mite preventative for use in your IPM program. Spray everything before using however, because even if whatever you’re spraying doesn’t kill beneficials, it could wash them away. Also, don’t eradicate the spider mites before applying. These guys will starve unless there’s a good population of Spider Mite adults and eggs for them to eat. It’s also good to mist the plants when applied to give them some liquids to take it. A light spray is best. Most effective for treating plants with spider mite populations already. Contact the company for the satchels that continue to produce new baby Californicus mites for Six months for more effective IPM controls.

Bugs for mite control
Used to help with spider mites but the spider mites out numbered them by to much so they couldn’t save our vegetable plant starters

Good Stuff
Thanks for the bugs man! I ordered 5k thanks for the big one. I'm sure some died on the way to Alaska but there in the tent now and I see them crawling. Took an extra day to get to Alaska but it made it. Thanks will be a return customer for sure. Thanks for the swag (stickers and catalog).

I don’t know.
Pretty sure they were in there and I spread them around. Not sure if they did anything. Had spider mites a couple months later, I was hosing the plants with water before putting these guys on so the mites weren’t having the nest time before I got these.Long story short, if you have a bad mite infestation, it’s because your plants are very unhealthy (most likely bad pH of your soil), look at ‘brix’ for plants. Bugs cannot mess with healthy plants.

Best defense against spider mites
I have accumulated 60 houseplants over the last year- fought a long and hard battle with spider mites last summer on my ivy and lost most of it even with frequent neem oil applications. Freaked out when spider mites appeared on my alocasias and calathea with the recent warm weather. Rinsed with lukewarm water and applied neem, only for the leaves to look stressed out from the frequent handling. Finally gave in and ordered these hunters; 1 week in and I can no longer see spider mites, only these fast moving predator mites once in awhile! Will only buy these mites in the future.

delivery was very problematic
I have to say I was very disappointed in the manner of delivery. Natures Good Guys' advertisement says "We Guarantee Live Delivery." Well, when I opened up my front door I found the package sitting in front of my door to the exposed hot sun. The Delivery guy did not bother to ring our doorbell. We were home all day. I have no idea how long that box sat out in the hot sun. There was shade available under a side bench next to the entry. When I opened the package the 2 ice packs were totally defrosted and warm. The container of mites was also warm to the touch. I obviously have no idea if any of the mites were still alive even when looking with a magnifying glass. I saw no movement. I guess I would need a microscope to determine if there were any mites still alive or what percentage of the mites survived the delivery. My previous delivery of 1,000 mites directly from Nature Good Guys a week earlier was much better with the ice packs still cold and the container cool. But I proceeded to disperse the material from the container as instructed at sunset in the hope that some mites were still alive. It is obvious that the delivery person was clueless about how to deliver live biological mites. Someone needs to properly instruct the delivery company about how to deliver and care for live biological agents.

Issues
Unfortunately most arrived dead. Ice pack was hot and the contents spilled a little. Some were alive but in a perfectly controlled environment suitable for the mites, they didn't even knock down my spider mite population. Not sure if it was a shipping issue or the actual supplier.

Arrived day and a half after ordering. All good guys arrived alive, well, and ready to beat up some bad guys. Currently kicking ass and taking names on my tomato plants and in my indoor grow tent. Thanks NGG!
