1: when looped in on themselves the tip ties seem generally secure, trying to pull them apart with your bare hands will not cause them to give way.2: anchoring the tie on a handle and then putting a metal rod though it, I tried pulling the ziptie away from the handle with mild force and the tie seemed to handle it well (as with any tie using maximum force in that situation would likely have caused it to break but there shouldnt be a practical situation where that kind of force should be applied)3: The ties are very resistant to being "unlocked" where you take a thin rod to move the locking hook to release the ziptie back to its original relaxed position. for your application this could either be a good thing or a bad thing, in the case of computers cable management setups have the tendancy of being reorganized and there are quite a few people that like to unlock the tie and reuse them. however in industrial applications where you dont want the tie unlocking, and need them to handle somewhat significant strain these seem to be adequate for the job.4: I mainly purchased these to be zip ties for computer cables, in which case they are far beyond adequate for the job if not a little overkill for that application.

All ties were functional, no broken or over-plasticed ones, zipped perfectly, and I used every one of them (and right now am ordering more).I am using it to build my rabbit cage (currently 4'8" by 3'6", will be 4'8" by 4'8") with two full floors and two half-floors, and this holds magnificently. I'll only need to do minimal structural reinforcement on the upper floors so the rabbits can run and jump easily when adding permanent flooring. I am very impressed and recommend these.

Perfect!!! Easy to zip and latches well. I used these to secure my Great Danes kennel. She is a master escape artist and I was so tired of coming home to shambles... now I don't worry one bit. I secured all of the corners and edges together and it was so easy. I used the 6 inch ties. They are strong and secure. I have plenty left over.

you get a lot of ties for the money and I already used them and I think the small ones hold more then 18 pounds as I fixed a get a grip shoe cover with one that broke and held up to me walking with just a zip tie keeping it together. bravo well made!!

These are great! I use zip ties DAILY, for running automotive wires, and stereo equipment etc. These are very Flexible and are NOT the cheap brittle ones that break when you pull to tight/hard. Very impressed with the price, quality, packaging, and shipping time! A+ all around!!!

Good ties and are pretty heavy duty. Not used them outside in the weather or anything so I can't attest to their durability. These thing are so expensive no matter where you buy them so these are a fair price.

These are great for keeping cords neatly wrapped, tying support for my tomato plants, bundling things, etc! So glad I ordered them!
