These were put to the test on a recent weekend backpacking trip with the scouts. The forecast was calling for rain so I had my phone in a pouch and the trail map in another. I am SO glad that I bought these and that my phone was in one when I decided to take an unscheduled swim during a creek crossing. The pouch was 100% submerged during that ungraceful plop into the creek. I tangled myself in the carry strap during the fall and the bag did develop a small tear right where the string attaches to the bag (hence 4 stars) but my phone was still dry! These are definitely worth the money but could be improved a touch by reinforcing the plastic surrounding the cord. I would still purchase again!I did not find these difficult to open as some other reviewers have mentioned. The velcro is strong, but as long as you don't need the arthritic cap on your Aleve bottle, you shouldn't have any issues :)

Perfect and smellproof

Leaving this here because I didn't see anyone else mention if the largest bag here fits a MacBook Pro-retina. I live in Seattle and wanted something that I could put my laptop in and get maximum protection against rain. I don't ever intend to allow my MBP-r to get fully immersed but, while I have a sturdy, high-quality messenger bag, I wanted to make sure my laptop never gets wet even with a downpour.Yes, my 2014 13" MBP-retina fits perfectly and the bag can be completely sealed as the manufacturer of the product recommends. I would imagine the 2015 MBP-r 13" model fits as well (it's the same size) and the 2016 version should fit too given it's actually thinner than the previous year's.And, yes, the product is waterproof and in my full-immersion test with some paper sealed in the bag, nothing got wet. My laptop will survive a torrential downpour without a problem.Hope this helps for those of you looking for absolute protection against water for your late model MacBook Pro 13".

just got these today..1).the small one, despite the size description is too small for the samsung galaxy a51..2) the bags are frosted. forget about using your camera in your phone..works ok for a map, and you can still call on your phone.

These are good products, they work. You must be strong to seal properly. You need to hear a snap on both ends of each ziplock. I tested by putting water inside to see if leaked and then put lots of pressure on water full bag. You can pop a ziplock if you try hard enough. The lesson don't leave too much air in with your electronics. I put my cell phone in one bag with no air and a second bag over the first with just enough air so it could float. I also put rice in each bag as Minnesota can be humid. I made 500 miles opening and closing before one bag plastic broke near inside ziplock. . I still give it 5 star because the best system and cheap. I used straps to go around bungee cord on kayak so I wouldn't lose in the waves.

Since you're meant to store maps or devices, I was surprised these bags are only translucent. So you can't really see your electronic device while using the bag.

You get a whole lot of waterproofing for a really good price. I got this for my map cover and identification paperwork in my B.O.B. Super happy with this order. Fits nicely in the top hidden compartment on my backpack and is water tight. I especially love the triple waterproof locking system. Totally easy to use and quick to open and close. The Velcro locking top is super tough and takes some effort! This is good. You know it is secure when it takes a little force to open. In addition to the larger bag, there are three others, that I am trying to find things to put into them, just to use! Can be used to cover almost anything from Electronics such as phones, cameras, tablets, to important paperwork such as birth certificates, and marriage licenses. Happy customer here!

durable quality and arrived quickly

These waterproof cases are effective at keeping various things dry in very wet conditions, phones, wallets etc. My primary interest was in the largest pouch which is said to be suitable for iPads/tablets and maps. The size is fine for most tablets although obviously you can't actually use the tablet while it's inside so only for protection.. However the pouch is not great for use with OS Maps as in order to get the map to fit the pouch you need to fold it a little bit smaller than the natural map folds. This is a pain and also makes it difficult to get the map in and out of the pouch - particularly around the bottle neck caused by where the cord passes through the pouch.That said the water proof sealing is thorough - using a seal, several folds and strong velcro. You could most likely immerse it fully underwater and not get the contents wet - not that I tried this personally, although it was pretty wet walking in the Lake District.

Poor quality. Bag was full of water after 5 min of usage. Definitely don't buy it. Absolute rubbish.

Undoubtedly good value for money. I actually tried to cancel this and buy a more expensive map case. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, better than I expected for the cost.Pros- good quality, waterproofCons- slightly bulky can be difficult to fold.

Excellent for use in all conditions, map folded up really well, used the smaller cases for electronic devices.

Not the highest quality, but it works perfectly well for my needs.
