Manufacture Defect
I bought this in September and Loved it, it’s built beautifully, and was exactly what I was looking for…..and it lasted barely a month before it malfunctioned. Now the heater started making a weird noise and overheats anytime it is on…and I can’t return it and I’m so disappointed…. :( not worth the money

Great Fireplace and even better Seller!!
First of all, I Absolutely love this fireplace! Attractive and puts out a good amount of heat. Secondly, I want to really thank the seller of this fireplace because my first one came damaged. They responded quickly and totally resolved the problem and immediately sent out my new one. Great Service from "Electric Fireplaces Direct" !!! I HIGHLY Recommend!

Really cool
Really cool electric fireplace!Has a very nice real looking flame (due to a mechanical system moving underneath so isn't just a digital display).And the heater works good.The entire casing is fiberglass and it's painted to look like wood and stones on the side (which they did a good job!).Disappointed with the lack of sound. It's totally silent except for the heater and has no built in sound so they ship you an extra external "sound box" that runs on batteries and has a button to press.Basically defeats the remote control if you have to get up, go to the sound box, press the button, turn the volume down, and then sit back down.Why wasn't that sound box built in or wired to/powered by the fireplace?????Really bad design that way, but otherwise a great and nice looking fireplace.Other than that, it works great and looks great!

I really like it!
The media could not be loaded. Can't get it against the wall because of a electrical cord, maybe a safety reason. Pretty easy to assemble, all ready put together , just needed to remove packaging protections. Does take the chill off, and very relaxing to sit by it.

nice piece, but pieces broken off
The fireplace is nice, but three pieces of the stone were broken off, possibly during shipping.you can see them in the pic. The hassle of trying to return was too great, so I ended up keeping the fireplace.
