Natural Woven Backed Horse Trailer Coco Mat, 3-Foot by 6- Foot

I bought a new trailer with a fairly steep ramp that my horse refused to load in. For weeks she has been fighting me. Last week it took TWO hours to get her to load. Full on rearing up and pulling back etc. I read online that others had good luck with coconut mats and I was so frustrated that i figured if this didnt work i may have to sell the trailer! The mat came quicker than expected and was surprisingly thick. I had nothing to lose so put it on the ramp where it has a little overlap at the top and bottom. Lead my horse up expecting the worst. She sniffed, rubbed her nose on it, and pawed it for a few minutes and it didn't move an inch. then to my surprise she put her 2 front hoofs straight on it and walked into the trailer like it was no big deal!!! I had her load and unload five times and she never hesitated after the first time! I could hardly believe it! Did it again today just to make sure it wasn't some weird fluke. In fact today she basically loaded herself! This mat is a life saver! It stays where you put it and took the abuse my horse gave it the first time. the mat rolls up easily and fits perfectly in the Manger. Highly recommend!

Our new OTTB came with trailer loading issues of an unknown origin. We first placed the Coco Mat outside his stall entryway, and he found it agreeable within 5 minutes. The Coco Mat remained here for a week and then we began using it on the loading ramp. Worked like a dream. Drastically reduced his nervous obsession with the ramp, and the gap between the ramp and trailer.The Mat itself held up very well to being outside for a week. It was easy to throw over a fence to hose down or dry out when needed. Rolls up very easily for transport and light enough for quick removal from trailer.The seller was also GREAT; Fed- Ex actually declared the package "LOST" halfway through, and the seller had a new one to me within 24 hours.If you are thinking about it, buy it. Bought a new trailer that is taller and my horse kept slipping to his knees getting on and off the trailer. Bought the 4x6 mat, but it was too heavy and awkward for me to move. Purchased the 3x5 and it is perfect. Covers my whole ramp, doesn’t move when horse goes in and out, and is light enough for me to pick up/move. I hang it on the empty side butt bar when not in use so it doesn’t take up any space.

My horses LOVE this mat. They are much more confident on the ramp now that they aren’t constantly slipping.

Its light enough to drag in and out of the trailer; my horse is much calmer about walking up the ramp into the trailer, and with this coir mat she doesn't jump out over the ramp (she goes running down it, but that's better than leaping over it). So, big improvement in loading my horse in the trailer.

I purchased this for my friends horses that I trailer with me. My trailer ramp can be slippery. I was using a large piece of carpeting, but this is Miles better. It’s heavy, but stays put when it’s stepped on. I am very happy with this purchase. It completely covers the walk up ramp and even goes over the edges by like 3 inches.

Nice thick coco mat, keeps the horses from slipping on the ramp. Reasonably priced and delivered in 2 days!!
