Safety First
Unfortunately the black metal light fitting that came with it did not have an earth wire. As I was replacing an old chandelier with a single bulb for this shade I had to use a plastic one I had already from B&Q. Metal light fittings should always have earth wires so it's disappointing it's being sold like this but I made it work. The lampshade itself is nice.

Be careful look at sizing. Pictures mis leading
Alot smaller than they look such a shame, I couldn't be bothered to return them but I am now looking for new ones to purchase. I searched large natural light shade as I have very high ceilings they look very pathetic up on the ceiling. I wish the advertising was more honest.
