Works great and doesn't leak and was a good deal.

I got the the Kston 2 Way Garden Hose Water Splitter as a stronger model than my previous splitter of another brand. The former splitter looked solid but developed a crack in the metal seam in less than a year rendering it useless. In replacing the old model, I found this device easy to install to the lead incoming hose. The two outpouring hoses fitted and tightened securely without any leakage. The Kston model both looks and feels like a durable, lasting product.The product arrived as scheduled. I appreciate that the seller, Kston, contacted me with useful information prior to using the product. I tried to review this product under the name in which it was purchased but got an admonishment "we can't allow you to review this item because the last review you did of this item did not comply with our guidelines".Just one problem-- I never reviewed this item before--even though this is the SECOND OF THREE TO FAIL-- but I'm going to now!It's GARBAGE! TRASH!! POORLY DESIGNED & ASSEMBLED!My wife likes these because the levers are easy to turn-- and they are. (1 star for that-- plus, there's no way to give these ZERO stars)Despite their claims of "solid brass" they're simply nothing like TRULY SOLID BRASS splitters.The threaded part has a small collar that's 'pinched' around the plastic body. The part of the threaded part which you can't see is a smooth, round shaft that extends into the body with a rubber washer/o-ring routed into the shaft. The shut-off ball inside is SOLID PLASTIC.Last night the threaded part blew off the body (it was still holding to the house). Hundreds of gallons of water flooded my pets' areas.I replaced it with a TOTALLY BRASS PARTS splitter when we saw the 13 gallons/minute of water flowing freely from its poorly constructed, "heavy duty" end.

Very well made. Rubber outside but overall a heavy duty metal splitter. Definitely worth every penny. The switches are easy to turn off and on and it is built a lot sturdier than the ones you find in stores.
