The Fairy Reward Box

This broke after we used it for one week. The stars are too big to fit through the cutout and when one of my children tried to push it through (with only the force of a 3 year old!) the door broke off and the entire thing is now un-usable. Way too expensive for this to happen!

Pros: LOVE the house! My daughter loves putting stars in at the end of the day, and checking each week to see how many she's collected. She gets stars for good behavior, and it works for her.Cons: I wish the stickers shown were included...and that the seller would respond to emails in regard to obtaining the stickers. It's overpriced, but we bought it anyway, because it was what we were looking for.General Impression: Adorable and kind way for behavior modification in young ones

This summer I've decided it's time for my girls to start helping out around the house. I believe that children need to learn how to take care of themselves so that when they grow up, they aren't lost. But you can't just tell a kid to do something because they gripe and complain the entire time they are doing it. You have to make chores fun by offering an incentive or reward. The Fairy Reward Box is an adorable way for kids to earn something by doing the things they normally wouldn't want to do. It's a great spin on the common reward chart. The Fairy Reward Box is an adorable pink and white house with a "coin slot" on the top and a door that unlatches and can be opened. The Fairy Reward Box comes with the house and a bag with 20 silver stars. The Silver Stars are what go inside the Fairy House after a child has completed a task. For my family, we use it for simple chores but I can be used for many things such as: Potty Training, Bed Time, Behaving while going out, and many more. And once my girls go through all 20 stars, my husband and I give them a reward like going to the local Snow Cone shop or maybe getting them a new video game. And then we start all over again.I've noticed a big improvement in my girls since we started using the Fairy Reward Box. They don't whine when I ask them to clean up their room and they get it done faster. What I really enjoy about The Fairy Reward Box is it's aesthetically appealing. I actually like how it matches the color scheme of my girls room. Instead of a giant reward chart taped to the wall or fridge, I can place this on a shelf in their room and it looks like everyday decor.I received this product complimentary in exchange for an honest review.
