I've found that this works even better than the much more expensive Octane Boosters that I've tried. Even though it's marketed as a fuel stabilizer, fuel treated with Star Brite StarTron feels like a much higher octane fuel. We can only get 91 octane pump gas in California, so I had been using octane boosters. The StarTron treated fuel was even better. No tendency to ping with the A/C on under heavy torque loads and with better mileage and no low RPM stumbling. A bargain as a few ounces treats an entire tank -- not like the multiple whole cans of expensive octane boosters.

Have several jerry cans as long term storage in the shed. These are for use in a generator if we should lose power for an extended period of time. Stored the gas for 2 years and just rotated in new. Ran in the mower perfectly. Few tips for long term storage. Air tight cans, full, ethanol free, highest octane available, reasonably cool and dry place to store.
