The folding plugs are kinda fiddly, and size/weight means they might fall out especially if you mount them upside down under a table like I have. That said, I got these 7 months ago, plugged it in a new power strip upside down where they stayed in place, and use it every day and enjoy the quick charges every day without fail.

Got it 4/21/17 worked great until today 5/2/17 ... I guess that's just the way it is .... many chargers and cables have a short life time ... not just this one.

Not so fast

Truly unfortunate. I travel constantly and gave the device a shot in hotels, planes and at home, however it routinely falls away from the outlets. I can jiggle it and usually stays connected, however more often than not, it falls out of touch. I'd love it to actually stay connected. When it IS connected, it works great, but perhaps it's defective? or a design defect? Based on what I received, can't recommend it. I'll follow up and travel another one and see how that works.

When they say quick charging they mean it. I just got a new phone that supports this quick charge and zoom off it goes. I'll admit that my phone doesn't have the best battery life with the big screen and all, but with chargers like these who cares. I did ultimately buy this for my wife though. My wife has had terrible luck with chargers. It seems that every pack-in charger that comes with a device fails for her after a few months. She often wakes up in the morning to a dead phone because the usb cable didn’t sit in the right spot and didn’t charge. When her most recent cable quit on her I decided to pick this up to help with the situation. This charger works well with the qualcomm fast charging and does in fact meet the qualcomm charging claims. It is great for the end of the day when your phone needs a pick me up to get you through the rest of the evening. Most importantly for her, the usb cable fit snuggly into the port with a satisfying snap as it goes in. It feels like it will hold up for some time. Only two downsides that I saw. One was the length of the cable. As a bedside charger you cannot charge while laying in bed unless you hang off the side. The other is that the transformer has a light on it. An intense blue LED that will not be a problem for most, but My wife has had terrible luck with chargers.
