I finally found the perfect solution to install a glass shelf above kitchen sink without damaging the marble wall. These brackets were easy to secure to the sides of our solid oak wood cabinets. One bracket at each end is more than adequate to support the long glass shelf. You do need to predrill holes before attaching the provided screws, especially if securing to a solid wood surface. Easy to adjust and there are rubbery plastic tabs used to protect glass between the brackets.

I had a unique shelf application (see pix) and spend forever doing research.I wanted strong chrome-finished brackets and had to wade through all the cast alloy brackets to find this ACTUAL stainless steel bracket. The design here is super simple and makes for an elegant understated look.For the record, that is 3/8 glass w/ polished edges and is about 31 inches long by 6 inches deep.Final quick points:- Made of welded stainless steel with chrome finish- Very strong- Simple installation - really just screw them to the wall

We really like the look and feel of these brackets, however they are unusable because as other reviewers have said, the manufacturer drilled the holes for the screws that hold the shelf in place too small for the screws they provided. We didn’t realize this until after the return window closed. We tried to contact the seller, and discovered that the email address listed on their website is not valid. We opted to purchase nearly identical (and much less expensive) aluminum brackets that worked perfectly for our needs.

Great brackets, but many comments that the holes for the expansion bolts are tapped wrong. I bought an M8-12.5 tap and re-tapped the holes and that expansion bolts now fit correctly and secure the glass shelf.

I needed brackets that could hold a fixed shower glass panel that the door is cantilevered from. They also had to be skinny so that the door would swing freely. The cast bracket from the same company bent and broke just from tightening the screws. These steel ones are very sturdy.

These brackets are almost invisible once they are installed. The handyman I hired to put them up was doubtful that they would work....but even he loved them! He even went home and told his wife about them. Everyone who comes into my kitchen and sees the glass shelves in front of the window above the sink comments that they are perfect!

I used these brackets to install a glass shelf measuring 47.5x2.5 inches (3/8 thickness). I was a bit worried that they wouldn't support such a long piece of glass or that I'd need more than 2 brackets. But they're actually very sturdy and support the shelf no problem. They were super easy to install and came with all the hardware you need. However, I did end up using my own screw anchors because I prefer ones that screw into the wall as opposed to hammer. So the shelf is super secure to the wall and doesn't appear to be going anywhere!

Discarded product as the screws were not able to be set properly, which appeared to be due to a mismatch in size of screw and plate opening. In the future I will not attempt purchase such items online.
