This adapter made an older dvd player work on a new smart tv without breaking the bank
I’m amazed this actually works a treat. It’s been connected to the tv in my sewing room so didn’t want to spend much money on it. The quality of the picture is surprisingly good for what it is. I even hooked up a spare amp to improve the sound quality from the tinny speaker on the tv. Now I can watch a movie on the dvd player or put a music cd in it and enjoy. I’m so happy as I can now sew away and be entertained at the same time thanks to this amazing little adapter. I recommend this adapter to anyone that has a dvd player that only has a scart connection and a smart tv that only has an hdmi, this will do the trick without spending too much on it.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I didn't as I read the reviews and bought it and it was easy to set up and works fine now I can use my old VHS player through our smart TV. Well pleased with its quality and price many thanks

Decent interchange cable
Easy to connect from my old dvd player to a new Sony tv in order to play old dvds. Do need to connect to the plug for power.

Worked! Very pleased with it Plugged the usb lead into the usb slot on the tv and the hdmi, works from the power of the tv so no extra plug needed

Very happy with purchase. Arrived quickly and was very easy to fit - even for a technophobe like me. It has enabled me to watch old holiday VHS videos and relive some lovely memories.

It's not getting a signal and its connected to a smart tv with sky but no picture from vhs player but a little sound

Ich benutze den HDMI Converter für einen VHS Videorecorder um ihn an einen neuen Fernseher ohne Scartbuchse zu betreiben. Der Anschluss war problemlos und wie in der beiliegenden Beschreibung angegeben. Den Strom für den Umwandler nehme ich aus einer freien USB-Buchse vom TV-Gerät. Alles funktioniert perfekt und auf diese Weise können wir einfach unsere alten VHS-Schätzchen anschauen .
