I like this, a little pricy and would recommend......Doesn't need cleaning because it doesn't get dirty. Should come with a small rubber band and there could have been a compartment designed in to carry extra plastic bags.

Below is part of my original review when I first got this and had used it for a few weeks. I had given it 4 stars. However, I can no longer recommend this product due to a flaw in the extendable claw. Initially, "priming" the claw worked almost every time. After a few months of almost daily use, the claw is no longer reliable. You pull it out repeatedly and the claw does not lock and priming does not work. It's a frustrating situation. Sometimes, it seems to have finally locked and when I put it to the ground, the claw starts to retract (push in). So now you have some poop on the bag but the claw has closed so you can't get the pile. All I could do was pull off the messy bag (carefully), toss it and get another bag and pick up the poop by hand. I spent a lot of money on this gadget so I did not have to do that anymore. What a disappointment.Part of original review:You push the button to release and extend the second section of the tube and then pull out the claw part. It seems you do have to "prime" the claw by pulling on the handles a time or two before use or the claw might not stay open. I put the bag over the claw and push it into the cavity a bit to form a space for the poop. The claw grabs the poop easily and if there are two spots to pick up, I just position the claw over the second spot (yes, the first piece of poop may drop out) but the claw picks up the combined pile. You flip the top of the bag over and off the claw to contain the poop much like when you use the bag-on-hand method but the claw is the hand. You push the button again so that you can push the tube and claw all back down to the compact size. This item is a bit pricey but if it lasts a good while, the convenience of this unique design will make it worth it for me.

No instructions, looked it up numerous times online to figure out how to use. Still haven't figured it out.

A good idea, but we could not get ours to twist and grab the bag. We had to return it.

This product does the trick. I have a small hand so it is a bit of a stretch for me to pick it up. I also ha a small dog and it works for her but I don't know about a big dog..

Great pooper scooper! This scooper holds up to our feisty puppy who is trying to bite it or chew it while I'm using it! It gets it all every time, the first time and can even pick up multiple piles with the same bag. I'M impressed!

Poor quality. Did not work from opening package. Instructions are in Spanish. Even the packaging is in Spanish. There was a minimal poor set of directions in English. I would NOT buy this product again. I also would NOT purchase anything made by this company again!

Only used a few times, but this scooper is great for dog walks. The scooper is easy to carry on walks with the strap. It comes with an instruction sheet and is actually quite easy to use. That said, larger breeds might pose some challenges.
