Vibrant illustrations and a beautifully written book. The information, the pages and the history was put in context so well. It was easy to understand.Especially explained why the genius of Islam is many a time not credited or hidden.I couldn’t put it down! Loved it!

The book is large as in bigger than copy paper size and very brief in pages. However, inside this book you read about the many interesting contributions the Muslim world made to help build modern society, which you typically do not learn in history. I definitely think the book is a good quick read and would recommend it. However, i wouldn't recommend buying it, if you can rent it for cheap or borrow it from the library you should. With that said if money's not an issue definitely buy the book if you want to support the author.

I am teaching my child about the achievements of Muslims over the centuries - though I am a Muslim myself. And I must say this book is quite good and makes my work so much easy.I must say, it should be a bit detailed. It is very very compact.

The illustrations are wonderful and the graphic designer did a fantastic job so that the text, white space proportions and type make this book a visual pleasure. The information is top notch and it is an absolutely essential book for historical reference. I bought it to donate to my middle school's library and the librarian loved it.

Good introduction to what Islam has contributed to modern society. Highly recommended for the thinking young person. An antidote for narrow mindedness.

This book contains a lot of great information about how Islam and Muslims played a huge part in the development of the modern world. I found this when looking for books for my 10 year old daughter, but it has information for all ages. It is well written and beautifully bound. A great book for anyone who has an interest in world history.

It is an easy read and easy to understand history lesson for all levels of students. It’s a great introduction into the history of Islam in the West and it’s unspoken influence.

Great book this is the true history that should be taught in American schools .
