Great board for the price!! WIndows 7, 11, and Unbuntu supported and FAST CUDA.
I bought this on Nov 27, 2022 to replace my GTX whose CUDA was so slow which impacted video rendering a LOT. Gaming was really good. Until I noticed this one. Blazing CUDA performance! Games are also a lot better. I don't care about the A.I. stuff, but I've tried it. Ehhh... The CUDA is a big deal, and though CPU rendering is better quality sometimes you just want great quality FAST.It functions well with Windows 7 as well as 11. I cannot handle Windows 10 and that ugly Metro thing. I've also started trying Linux Ubuntu and some others. Some older games just won't run at correct speeds or have problems that were made for x64. So Windows 7 is still very handy. However, Wine with Ubuntu has been very helpful in these cases.I'm not a "hard-core" gamer, so... DiRT 5, DiRT 4 (a modification is needed), and some other new ones do very well with this board. I also dig the RTX remakes of Source's games like Portal. Though I noticed I had to degrade some performance in the game for it to be totally smooth. Since they're still in process maybe that will change soon enough? The lowering of settings though does not detract from the added Ray Tracing. Wow!So Windows 7, 11, and Unbuntu are doing really with this in everything I've done. Again, I'm not really an A.I. fan, but it has moments of cool, as long as it not ChatGPT...I'm cool with it.HDMI sounds fantastic, but most times I'm using my AirPods or wired ear buds. But when playing Rush songs, the HDMI does very well. Games sound good, and I always disable game music because it detracts from games. When I'm talking to people, or in situations music isn't often going at the same time.

Runs good
Stays cool, it fits in my mid case perfectly, easy box to install process. I get around 100 fps on BO6 on high settings. Runs all new games. Good quality

Great video card
I even got the manufacturer refurbished GPU and it works great. Nothing wrong with it. Even runs nice and cool. They did an amazing job refurbishing it because I can’t a single thing wrong. Don’t be scared of refurbished if it’s an ASUS TUF brand

Performs like a charm
My only gripe is that I had to pay a lot more than MSRP because of miners.

Really is 12GB RAM.
This is a good card. The fans are ball bearing, so although they should last, they are a bit louder than sheath fans. Unless desperate for absolute silence, this will probably not be an issue at all.I got a very good price on the card (Thanks Amazon).Remember that NVIDIA does a lot of tricks in their drivers to make things more efficient. For example, my main screen is a 39 inch 1080p. With this card, i use DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution) at 2880x1620 which the card then displays at 1080. The increase in visual quality when doing this is substantial. I could go on for quite some time. Point being, this is a hefty card for a good price, and has 3 times the RAM of the original model. Unless you need 4K gaming at 144hz, this card should work fine. I do work in Unreal Engine across up to 4 1080p screens and this works for me. Also has a 5th DP/HDMI (Does not always allow all five screens on at once. please see the absolute resolution limits of the card to see if your setup will work)Overall, glad i made the investment at around $500 final price (including tax and delivery), late 1st quarter 2022

GREAT card! decent fan noise and small profile for tight fitting cases.
I bought this to replace an RX 580 8g and it's a definite upgrade, my mobo is only pcie 3x so I don't make use of the full potential but even on 3x it's a major improvement overall. AMD built in tuning allowed me to get the 580 to run nearly silently along with my low powered/silent case fans there was no sound in my room at you couldn't tell the PC was on at all unless you look for the power led. On the lowest tuning settings that will run stable the 3060 still has noticeable sound compatible to murmurs when running a moderately challenging game like warzone but something that leans on the GPU more like Warframe will have the card whirring up to about the sound of a space heater/conversation but not quite ear destroying levels like a hairdryer. Coming from a dead silent card I was annoyed that you can't lower the fan speed below 30% using driver settings or the asus tuning app. I don't like having to rely on MSI Afterburner but it is the only way to quiet the fan lower then being at a constant whisper. Graphically it works as you'd expect from watching any youtube video comparison so really the only thing to consider is if the card runs hot (nope) or if the card is the right size for you case (nearly as small as the pci slot) and if the sound levels are tolerable (quiet enough if you're patient). If you can live with 30% fan sound background noise or don't mind the risks of setting your own afterburner settings then it's a solid buy. I found it sold by amazon delivered by amazon for 50 bucks over MSRP so I'm satisfied with that markup all things considered. 9/10 would be perfect if I could get the sound under control without relying on outside apps.

Plays anything I throw at it.
My monitor is 1080p, I'll start with that. I get upwards of 120+ fps on most games at med settings. I can push max settings on games like Black Ops 6, Halo Infinite and the like, and still get around 60fps. This is the bear minimum in graphics performance, in my opinion, for a current gen gaming PC. Not sure what graphics card to buy to start? This one.
