Excellent teapot and cup for one person as it provides a generous amount of tea in one sitting and the the strainer works well with loose leaf teas. It's sturdy and has a good thickness which keeps the water hot which is important if your going to let your tea seep for a few minutes.I would highly recommend this product for a gift or self. My husband gave this set to me as a gift and I use it everyday in the afternoon with a delicious Rioobous tea and biscuits.
