Assembly is very simple. Fur does not look cheap. Has been a great fashionable stool. The seat is definitely for smaller people or feet. I loved the first one so much, I bought a second one.

We got this for our cat to be able to jump up and down from the counter where her food is. It's sturdy enough for that (the feet are slightly uneven but could be our floor). Easy to assemble, looks nice.

Perfect vanity seating! Our daughter loves it! Looks cute with her white and gold legged vanity. She at 14 put together herself! I do highly suggest using felt stick pads at bottom of legs to protect hardwood floors from scratching.
