There are a seemingly endless array of companies manufacturing this type of grinder. I have order this style from a number of manufacturers and all of them have them same flaw, the plastic piece that fits inside the ceramic burr breaks which prevents the burr from rotating. If someone sold that piece I'd be on cloud 9, instead, plan on buying one of these every 3-6 months from whomever has the best price at the time. I have since chosen to leave this with my camping gear and made the Handground my daily grinder.

Have been using this thing now for a little over a month and it is great! If you find it hard or tiring to grind with this then you are just lazy b/c my 80 yr old aunt can use it no problem ;) It takes approx 125 turn to get 1-2 K cups which should only take 1-2 minutes to complete going slow. The grind is not perfect but consistent and good.

I bought this grinder to use at work for my French Press. The grind was always good, but the plastic piece that holds the burr in place at the bottom of the unit gave out after 3.5 months of use.

I love a decent cup of coffee when camping and this grinder makes that possible. Always seen myself as a cowboy drinking coffee round the camp fire and although I use a gas burner I still feel like I’m fulfilling my dreams.I like the fact that I can choose how coarse the grind is, it’s pretty solid and takes up very little space in my rucksackNeed a decent cup of coffee when I’m off the grid.

Like many people these days, I depend on my cup of Joe to get me going in the morning. With this handheld grinder, I can grind my coffee beans as much and as frequently as I need, which means my coffee grounds are always fresh!

This absolutely elegant device sits nicely in the corner of my kitchen counter and grinds about four tablespoons of beans at a time which is just right for my morning "fix." I use a small French Press, and coffee tastes great!
