Deep Watering Spikes - 36-Inch - Pack of 5

These are great for yards with irrigation lines. They helped my Queen palms explode and are great for deep watering established trees. Just slow water there area where the stake will be placed and hammer it in once the ground is soft. Depending on your soil, a hole may need to be dug, but well worth the effort.

Not suitable for desert soil.

We're not what I expected. Need to have landscaper set up so can connect a drip line. Thought I would be able to connect with a hose.

This is almost perfect. It would’ve been great if they would’ve put a hose attachment on this so you could use it with water to sink it into the ground. And then remove the hose to lay your quarter inch tubing with however gallons per hour drip going inside the tube. But as it is I would suggest buying a small auger for your drill and pre-drilling the holes so you don’t break the PVC stake going in the ground.I’ve read many of the reviews before buying the 36 inch drip stakes for my fruit trees. And agree with that hose attachment being needed. It would’ve made the item complete. I have some young trees that are going to require some work establishing the roots in a windy area. I like that the stake has numerous holes up and down the length of it to promote root growth for depth and width.
