First I like the color changing lights, the hats have material that easily shape them to look like a witch's hat. The material is good as well. Now the bad part. The stakes are made of cheap plastic that will not allow them to stand up straight. Plus it breaks real easy. So the winds will have to be calm all the time for this to work. Second the sound box is loud and a little scratchy. No volume control to keep it from being annoyingly loud. Would have liked it better with lights only. I have 4ft metal pipes that work better than the stakes and the worthless plastic it comes with. Will probably disconnect the speaker or muffle it somehow. So, I'm keeping it but I do not recommend this to anyone unless they are prepared to make the changes to make it work for them.

We put these out night before last and came out this morning to find them broken. Very mild wind caused the poles to snap. It wasn’t even a storm, just stay a few small gusts of wind

Do not buy. I purchased this and I swear I had them in the ground for 2 minutes and the wind blew and ALL three snapped. I literally looked at them laying on the ground in shock longer than they lasted standing up. I contacted the seller and they shipped out another set immediately. But I’m still trying to figure out how to make them stable before I put them out. You can honestly make these. Go to the dollar tree get 3 brooms take the head of the broom off. Get 3 round foams stick them on the broom. Go down to hobby lobby purchase black fabric and hang over the foam and broom stick. Get 3 witches hats and hot file them on top. Dollar tree also had the battery powered lights you can string under the fabric. It’ll take them same time to make them as it does trying to make them stable or wait for the replacement. Do not waste your money.

This thing is about as annoying as a 3 yr old with ADHD that doesn’t take meds (no offense to anyone who has a child with such condition) upon opening there is some assembly required and the remote that comes with it probably will have a dead battery so go buy a new one . Secondly upon staking it into the ground the tube broke immediately as did my heart being I had high hopes for this decoration. Then came the most horrific sounding thing I ever heard when I tested this thing out. Nails on a chalk board sound better then this thing. It is frightening just hearing this thing because it sounds like a gremlin but not one of those nice furry gremlins one of those gremlins that looks like a skinned possum. So for the money you get what you pay for however my expectations vs what I got were not even close .

I'm super sad about these. We set them up and as soon as we got all 3 up, one pole after the other snapped leaving all 3 laying on the ground. They would not have withstood any wind at all. It's a great idea but they seriously need to come with a better/stronger pole system. Thought about returning them but almost seems like more of a hassle than it's worth. Really really disappointed, I was super excited about these. Note to self, listen to the reviews!! 😥

These witches are cute and have potential, but they are cheap garbage. The post pieces don't fit together properly, so there's no way to make them five feet tall and they are therefore like little dwarf witches. The ground stakes snapped off after the wind blew a little bit, so I had to shove the actual posts into the ground. The "arms" twirl around with the slightest breeze. If these were constructed better, I'd gladly pay more for them, because they are a cute idea.

The witches are cool but the polls they come with broke the day I got them within an hour of them being up. It was a little windy but not bad but they still fell over and broke. So I had to get stakes and zip tie them on the stakes so I could put them back into the ground so far it’s been a couple of days and they are holding up.

Below is the review however this company later offered me a $30 gift card to change to a 5 star review! Sleazy tactic in my opinion.Sound activation is hit or miss. Quality is so-so indicating indoor only use but scary sound volume too loud for indoors. Stakes bend/break easily in the wind. That said, they are fun to have. Just don’t expect much.
