This was a gift for a ten-year-old who likes to draw. The pages are not lined, which is not as easy to find. I chose strawberry scent, and it really comes through. It does not smell chemical to me, just "yummy", as my young friend puts it. I will try the other scents for gifts in the future. I recommend this product.

This was a good gift for a younger kiddo. The pencil definitely smells and the journal does at first too, its very strong. After about an hour the journal had a subtle smell but still there and still smells now a few months later. Its nice quality paper and worth the price.
