My wife bought me a paraffin hand bath for when my fingers seem sore in the winter. After using it a few times it runs low on wax and I needed some more. I saw this on Amazon and thought I would give it a try. It works well and the price was fair.

This wax didn't melt easy. And it had a fragrance I didn't like.

I use this paraffin wax with my Revlon Spa Moisture Stay machine. I have had great results. I love teh way it leaves my hands and feet feeling soft and moisturized. It is very good to soften my calluses and rough spots.I heat up the wax in the machine. First, you have to break the wax up in smaller pieces so that it melts a little easier. It takes a couple hours to melt. This is the only draw back because you have to know in advance that you want to use the machine so you plug it in ahead of time so it will be ready when you want it. I always take a bath/shower before I do a treatment so I am clean before dipping into the wax. The wax has a pretty good smell. It's not a smell I'm in love with, but it's not repulsive in any way. I would love to find a really good smelling wax, like scents from Bath and Body Works. I should check out their store and see if they sale paraffin wax.Once the wax melts, I dip hands and my feet into the hot wax. I do about 5 dips with each hand and foot. Then I allow the wax to dry until it starts to work itself away from my skin. I don't use the plastic bags. I tried them, but I didn't see where they really added much benefit. Once the wax dries, I peel it off and throw it back into the hot wax. I rub hands together and over my feet to absorb the remaining moisture on my hands and feet. The directions say to throw the old wax away and to dump the hot wax with each use. Well, if I did this, I would have to buy more wax every time I use it and that would be very expensive.I use the same wax over and over. I have given myself about 50 treatments so far and I still have plenty of wax left over. I haven't even needed a refill yet. When I'm finished. I turn off the machine and the wax hardens in the machine. The next time I get ready to use it, I just plug the machine in and the wax re-melts in about 2 hours. I do not try to break it up into smaller pieces and it still melts just fine. I haven't even needed to buy the refills I bought. The wax really lasts a long time. Also, I don't put the white plastic heat protector in the bottom of the machine because when the wax dries and hardens in the machine, the plastic blocks the wax from re-melting when you try to reheat it for the next treatment.

Great price for wax replacements. Enjoyable fresh scent.

I’m grateful for the paraffin wax- it’s fine

I bought this exact brand of wax before, and it looked like the picture when i got it. What i got this time is two bags of wax that look like they have either melted and hardened or were poured into the bags melted then stuffed into the box. I'm sure the wax is fine and I will use it, which is why it did not get 1 star, but I'm having to use a hot knife to cut the wax and bag due to the bottom being turned up. Disappointing.

You won’t be able to break these, so be prepared to let them heat for some time to fully melt. The smell is very, very strong. Not entirely unpleasant but not a smell I love. They are quite moisturizing and for the price, a good buy.
