After purchasing the ADJ hex par uplights I could not get the included obey four to work with them. I ordered the Hexcon Hex DMX controller and my lighting service took off like it should. This is a great controller. Easy to use and built tough for the road.

Seems well constructed, fairly easy to control, I have it running my EVO RGB-UV light bars. It's a good average size, not sure why it has rack ears, it's too small to rack mount. There's a dmx channel difference, to control the UV I have to use the "white" controls and the UV controls do nothing. Perhaps that's a fixture issue, not so much the controller. I don't know at this moment.I'm not terribly thrilled with the sound sensitivity. It's a turn knob on the backside. I was hoping it would work better than the sound sensor on the fixtures. When there's a lot of bass the sound trigger does nothing and having this stiff knob on the back not giving you the ability to do small adjustments is inconvenient. I was hoping for a much longer control range on a slider on the top so I can get more of an audio trigger with a lot of bass. I knocked 1 star for the sensitivity knob.Update, I've been using it for awhile now, my opinion hasn't changed much other than I really like the simplicity, I've learned a few more things it can do for me. I really need to get more proficient with the presets, I just haven't found the need. I thought about getting something bigger, maybe do more like, have a "bump" button cranking lights to full. Because I've kinda wore a bad spot in the master fader continually going up and down with the music. I've always been a dj doing my own lights, I like an impressive light show but I dislike programming so I have multiple controllers for the different types of fixtures and the controllers have alot of auto features that are better than I can program or care to want to program
