I'm not usually one to leave bad reviews but I feel like I got tricked by the previous reviews. This bottle has one of the highest ratings I have seen on Amazon and it simply does not live up to the hype.The main issue is that it is very hard to drink out with the straw as the suction lets you only take small sips then lets out an annoyingly loud noise. I tried to fix this through various ways and playing with the hole that is supposed to allow air through and was only able to make it minimally usable.The entire lid and straw feel cheap and are hard to clean as well.I have used a lot of other bottles in the past including hydroflasks, camelbacks, swells and others, this one may be cheaper but it was a waste of money. If you must buy this one, do not buy the straw lid.

LOVE THIS WATER BOTTLE! I can put ice in it half way up, and get four refills using the same ice! Depending on how much water you drink, that might last all day or more. I personally drink about 8 of these a day, so filling it up with ice only twice, is a game changer! A few weeks ago, I thought I lost it, but I just forgot it in the backseat of my sisters car. Mind you, it was there for five days, in 90 degrees(+) and there was still ice in it!I used to not be a huge water drinker, as I only like water when it’s FREEZING cold! But? After having VSG surgery, and being limited to pretty much only water, this has been a life saver. Before I would put plastic bottles in the freezer but I was going through them so fast, even refilling them, I couldn’t justify that kind of damage to the planet.My friend told me about her hydro flask and I was sold.... until I saw the price tag! These work just as well, they just don’t have the logo (like that matters lol). I take it everywhere with me and I don’t think I’ll ever go back plastic bottles!*QUICK TIP* If you’re going to be putting ice in it, like I do; please be careful when opening it! Because it’s air tight, as the ice melts, the molocules expand (thanks 7th grade science class). Because of this, if you wait too long after closing it with fresh ice, it will shoot water out at you! So, if you’re the wicked witch of the west, I would highly recommend you not use this water bottle. For everyone else, it’s a definite must! You won’t regret it!

I bought this after the untimely demise of several glass and plastic drinking cups and tumblers at the hands of a two year old human. We are three days in and she has not yet defeated this bottle so I am hopeful for a long and hydrated life together. The bottle keeps liquids cold, the color and finish are nice and attract many compliments from fellow water enthusiasts. Prepare to be asked if it’s a more expensive brand and put on your best smug smile and answer “No, it’s a Simple Modern.”

I’m a water bottle connoisseur. Here what you need to know about the 22 ounce bottle.It fits in a cup holder. It fits in my purse. I keeps your drink cold- forever. It’s easy to drink out of, no tilting your head back. It’s easy to clean. It doesn’t leak at all. It’s also cute.The only down side is the volume it can hold in relation to fitting in a cup holder. Let me explain- the larger sizes don’t fit in a cup holder. I usually like my water bottles to be 1,000ml so I don’t have to fill them up as often. Women need about 2.7 liters a day (men need 3.7L). So women need to fill it up 4 times a day and men need to fill it up 5.6 times a day. If you’re a busy person, it’s slightly annoying.Why is a water bottle fitting in a cup holder so important to me? Because if it doesn’t fit in the cup holder, then it must go into the passenger seat. It rolls into the floor if you break. If someone is sitting in that seat, then it’s a hard time finding a new spot. Also- bike water bottle holders. Backpack water bottle holders.So anyways, I love this water bottle. I’m about to get another one!

I just purchased two of these bottles, one in the 22oz size with the straw lid, and one in the 40oz size. The black one in the photo is the 22oz. I wanted the straw lid mainly for the 40oz size, and I was glad to see that the bottle with the straw lid came with two straws, so I can cut one of them to size if I want to use it with the 22oz bottle. The bottles both seem very high quality and all of the lids fit great. I tried out the straw lid right away with the 40oz bottle and experimented holding the bottle upside down and such and there was no leakage whatsoever with the lid. The straw lid came with instructions as to what size to cut the straw down to for each size bottle. The straws I received were already 8" and 8 1/4" so I didn't have to cut the one for the 40oz (instructions said to cut to 8 3/4" for the 40oz but the straw was already shorter than that.. It said cut to 8 1/4" for a 64oz bottle.. Maybe they got the measurements mixed up writing the instructions?). The straw lid worked and I can drink out of it comfortably. Now I'll just see if the bottles keep drinks cold for a long time, which it seems like they won't have a problem doing! I'll update if anything changes, but so far I'm very satisfied with my purchase!Also, each bottle came with a coupon for a free Summit lid (buyer just pays shipping), so that was a nice surprise!!

For me, £20ish was quite high but I was looking for a bottle that held up well on a day to day basis. Oh boy is it doing just that! Not a single scratch, keeps water hella cold and fresh all day! I bought the 1L version, really keeps me on track with staying hydrated throughout the day.In my bottle was a code for a free lid or boot. I thought, why not? Paid the eyewatering shipping to the UK (£19, I know) but it does mean I have a pink lid now. It worked in my favour, though. Delivery took waaay longer than it should have and ended up being refunded, excellent customer service from Simple Modern themselves.I love this water bottle, it is glued to me! If you're someone who likes to keep things aesthetically pleasing definitely purchase one of these bad boys.It definitely adds to the appeal of the mundane task of drinking water day to day.NOTE: THE PINK LID AND BLUE BOOT WERE PURCHASED SEPERATELY, BUT A WELL RECIEVED ADDITION TO THE BOTTLE!

Wow. This bottle is exactly what I’ve been looking for for a long time! The colour is gorgeous, even prettier in real life! The handle on the lid is useful, and I’ve had zero problems with the straw (which I was a bit worried about after reading some of other reviews). It’s definitely leak proof too! I’m so glad I bought it. The only thing I wish it had was a bit more of a grippy coating. When it’s full it’s obviously a bit weighty, so it feels a bit too smooth almost. Luckily the handle is there to help with that. Don’t hesitate, it’s great!

Bought this looking for a cheaper alternative to hydro-flask, was worried about metallic taste from the bottle / leaking that I have had from other cheaper bottles, am yet to be disappointed.Really good at keeping the water cold, there was some worrying reviews describing squeaky noises from the nozzle to suck air back into the bottle, there are some strange noises every so often but honestly if you flick the top of the nozzle the sound stops, doesn't happen often enough to be annoying in any case.Design is gorgeous, I got the marble patterned one, the product selection is a bit deceptive with some of them listed as "bottle and lid" and others just "bottle" etc, they all come with a straw lid so don't worry yourself about that.Cleaning is easy, it comes with an extra straw anyway which is effortless to fit and replace but I haven't needed to bother replacing yet and I've been using it near constantly for about 3 months.If you were worried like me looking for some evidence of major problems that you don't want to have to deal with, don't bother it works great and looks amazing.

Having previously bought the smaller version of this and liked it, I decided to buy a bigger one for return to office. I’m surprised how few reviews mention this but when you drink from this bottle the rest of the water you do not drink through the straw rushes back down to the bottom and makes an extremely loud and terrible noise! It would not be possible to drink from it in public. I tried to fix this a couple of ways but with no success. Will unfortunately be returning. This makes the bottle unusable? Surprised by how many good reviews there are

My children and I love these bottles.The spout is a decent size and fast flowing.The top of the bottle is wide enough to make cleaning very easy and I pop the lid in the dishwasher.The metal interior gives a fresher taste than the plastic cups/bottles I’ve had in the past.I thought it might be too heavy and bulky for my youngest (19 months old) but he kept using mine with no problem. So he has one of his own now too.Another note on the ‘feel’ of the bottle- it does not get wet and slippy or too cold on the outside. The ombré effect has a slightly bumpy feel to it and the marble one is smooth.I also liked that it came with a spare straw in case it gets damaged or lost.
