This is an asset for any RC flier. It will accurately tell you the voltage of just about any battery you want. Since it is powered by the battery you plug into it, there is no need to worry that the CellMeter will not work after periods of non-use.

Quality & Price
Great battery checker, good price. The only thing missing is a hole or ring for a lanyard.

One minor issue
When I received the Battery Checker, I was unable to get the balancing connector on my Thunder Power (new versions) and Foureon batteries to connect.I contacted the vendor (eHappyMaker) and received a very informative and helpful reply that assured me that the connectors were compatible. So, I worked with the battery checker some more -- applying more force than should be necessary and tilting the connector up-and-down -- and was able to get the Thunder Power (new versions) and Foureon batteries to connect. The issue is the space between the pins and the base plate for the checker. It needs more space. Once I got a 3S balancing connector attached to the meter, I pulled upwards on it very hard (probably about 8 lbs of force). That force bent the pins on the checker up just a little (perhaps about 0.002 inch) but was enough to allow the connectors to slip on easily. Once connected, the Checker performed as expected and has very useful functionality.A visual check of the pins shows the slightest (barely noticeable) upward deflection of the first four pins. So, the space is too tight by a matter of only a few thousands of an inch. Manufacturing tolerances could result in some meters having no issues. But, to improve quality, a minor change would be helpful. The price and functionality make this product a good value. Excluding the one issue, it is easy to use and could save you from a expensive crash. I fully charged a battery and checked the voltage readings against a Thunder Power T601C Charger and the voltages were nearly identical -- with the largest variance being 0.006 volts.

Don't buy this garbage spend the extra money get a good one.
I don't write reviews unless a product is so bad it's not even worth my time sending it back. The screen is absolutely terrible. Looks like what happens when you press a calculator screen in you literally cannot read anythingRegisters my 3s Lipo as a 2s lipo. Gives completely different readings from another lipo tester. Tells me each cell has nearly 6v lol.DO NOT BUY. Absolute garbage.

Not bad for nine bucks, but I would try a different brand if I were you....
For 9 dollars, it ain't bad. I've used it a bunch. The instructions say that there is a LiPo balance feature which was not advertised. The instructions are wrong. I tried everything to get the unit into balance mode, and it didn't happen. On a positive note, the seller did replace it, but that unit does not have the feature either. I gave up. Like I said above, for 9 bucks, it does the job of checking cells and giving decent info about the pack. I will def keep it, but am still looking for a good balance solution. Also, the "Total" label in the LCD display is mis-spelled "Totlal". LOL

Item may be Amazon Prime but it's not returnable
Was looking for a battery tester for my cell phone battery, which it will not work with. The product works with radio controller or drone battery packs with a specific battery pack connector "Only works with the balance charging lead on the lipo battery pack". Also item is listed as an Amazon Prime product but is nonreturnable "This item isn't eligible for return" according to them because according to the manufacturer (eHappyMaker ) it contains a battery which it does not. This is a battery pack tester and does not work until you plug it into a power source/your battery. If you wind up stuck with this item call Amazon customer service at 866-216-1072 and complain.
